Just popping in to say goodnight all as oh has'nt diconnected me from the web yet.
The problem he had with the caravan today was that when he turned the water this morning as it had been off over the winter, was that when he drained it down the water to the shower in the bathroom had'nt drained right out. It must have frozen over the winter and split the pipe which is only small and plastic. This pipe was in the bedroom which is next to the bathroom. It flooded the blimmin bedroom!!!!!!!! He had to take out the bed which is a full size fouton with fouton mattress and a proper double mattress. He blew up the vax so has put the little bar heater on in the bedroom and the de humidifier hoping it will dry out by Tuesday. The pipe split on a bend bit and there is nowhere we could get one today so he just tried a stop on it and it worked. I had to man the water off and on while he looked to see if it was going to leak. So there is now no shower to use in the caravan. Just as well I have cleaned all the bathroom. I had a good clearout of all the lotions and potions on top of the cupboard on the wall too. even chucked out a plant or two.
What I want to know is why men put things back when they are emtpy?? Why not just throw them in the bin? If I saw the empty shampoo bottle in the bin I would buy him another instead of him asking me if I have anymore shampoo :-(
Nothing on the telly tonight....................
Looking forward to the new WDYTYA with Emelia Fox as I like her and her mum who is usually in old fashioned things.
Oh well off to bed now I think.
Night night sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite.
Hope that helped today Mandy.

Evening All Well I haven't heard yet if this young lad wants the car.He came with his Mum.needs a small car for his wife but I think he needs to get rid of one of theirs.Maybe I might hear something tomorrow.I took them for a little spin as he wasn't insured to drive Hannahs car. Just had an offer in on the washer dryer.James said he will sort that tomorrow for me. Fingers crossed all the work is completed tomorrow Fiona. Mandy I think you sent me a pick of a gigantic Toad in the Hole you did a year or so ago.it was a whopper lol Shame Ros's dinner had to go in the bin Frank, but at least she has had a little something.
Hannah rang to say she has got the flat share in Stoke Newington. She is very pleased and will move in near the end of this month. When she is settled we will all troop down there for a visit.
I made up a little dish of cooked dwarf beans, olive oil, chopped walnuts, feta cheese and chopped fresh Dill and mint plus salt.it was very nice, but I only did a small one as I had picked all the beans.
I am now ready to go up to bed.Chester has dreadful wind so it will be good to get out of this room :-S :-S :-S Pat I hope you sleep better tonight and are up raring to go in the morning .
Right that is me done for the night now so Night Night xx

Hi all,
Jan called over this afternoon with Ella her grandaughter. Made Ros smile a bit, not that she really needed a 3 year old as company this afternoon. They didn't arrive till about 6.pm, so Ros was up and lying on the sofa. Not feeling much better, I did myself some egg sandwhiches for tea, and she did eat half so thats am improvement. Hasn't wanted her dinner, so that will have to go in the bin, will try again tomorrow.
Hope the car sale went through Jane, Should have had me on hand, my patter never let me down. Use to sell 40/50 cars a months. It was a ploy of mine many years ago, to always give the wife a bouquet of flowers, when they took delivery of the car, it seemed to work as I had a lot of repeat business.
Haven't ventured out today. was going to see how the festival was going, but didn't like to leave Her Majesty. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Sorry to hear Ros is feeling so sick Frank, those patches don't seem to be helping her do they , does the pain keep her awake at night too?
Jane, stick to the price you want , and don't let them bet you down !! and don't listen to no sob stories LOL Where are the men when you need them !!!LOL
We have had a nice Roast Chicken dinner , i thought i would do Toby a chicken dinner so i made the Yorkshire pud in a 6inch square tin instead of the bun tin that i normally use .....well you should have seen how it turned out ....it was huge !!!! it rose up lovely ...then it started to spread out to the sides !!! it nearly touched each side of the oven !!!! LOL I thought the mix seemed a bit thick so i added another egg !!!
I wish my camera had been charged up so i could have taken a photo to show you . We all had some and i threw three quarters of it away !!! years ago we would have had the rest for pudding with golden syrup !!

Jane, don't let him drive off in it on his own to try it will you........I know it sounds obvious, but I know someone who did that and the chap didn't bring it back! More hassle!!
Sorry poor Ros is feeling sick again Frank. Maybe she will feel a bit better after a rest.
Liz, I bet you never miss what you have cleared out, I know I didn't when I moved here. I ought to have another one now I think!! lol I bet Millie can sense something is afoot with all the activity.

Afternoon,
David, it is a good idea to change locks when you move, but what is your reason? It sounds as though Ellen has the right idea to get the place how she likes, it will feel more right and like home then. That pain you have sounds nasty.
Jane the move can't be helping your sister's BP! Maybe she is trying to do everything at once when really she needs to go at a slower pace.....not easy to do though, when you want to get things done. Alan Carr's dad is a footie manager, so OH has seen him a few times. Apparently his dad is a very 'macho' kind of man too!! lol
Fiona, I know exactly what you mean about bending and feeling sick. It is a horrid feeling and you must have to keep standing back up. We have found that we can't have any breakfast before we do any heavy jobs in the garden, especially OH, who has reflux like you. It will be good to move things on by going private for an endoscope, it must be worrying to not be able to eat enough to keep your weight from going down. I hope you can get seen soon. Your kitchen plans sound exciting. I know I loved getting my (quite small!) kitchen re-done 3 years ago. We made better use of the space, it was much lighter and we had floor tiles that are bigger and much easier to clean.!! It didn't make me want to do more cooking though! lol
Pat, I think I might ask the hairdresser if I can stand over the basin next time. I can't have this happen again........3 days out of action now and I want to get on with things!!
I use a lot of Cif in the bathroom Mel and those pads as they don't scratch. Some of the other cleaners are a bit fierce anyway and you can ruin chrome with them. I think I will find one of those small brushes in the garage, sounds as if it would be easier than an old toothbrush. I hope whatever happened with the caravan can be easily put right before Tuesday!!
Mandy, that was good, finding a new eating place to try. We have said that we drive past so many places we have never tried.
OH lost his rag a bit at Mor*isons this morning.......not like him, but he has his moments!! lol There were huge queues at all the tills and we only wanted a few things. They have now removed the basket only till (goodness knows why!) so there were just the 4 self service tills with another big queue. What annoyed him was that 2 of those were 'cash only' tills!! Everyone using the 4 tills seemed to have to call for help, so it was slow progress. OH went into 'manager mode' and asked why 2 tills were cash only. On being told it was because they had broken down, he asked the woman whether it had been reported and when!! She told him she had reported it last Tuesday. 'Last Tuesday' he said, 'so why haven't you re-opened the basket only till until they are fixed?' No answer!! Then when it was our turn it wouldn't let us have 3 packs of painkillers I wanted because of the 2 limit so he chucked the 3rd pack to one side as he didn't want to wait for me to put it through as a seperate transaction. He muttered all the way out of the shop about them not deserving to have customers!!! lol I must say I think the 2 packs of painkillers limit is silly and a bit 'nanny state'. I know it is supposed to stop people who want to take an overdose, but they could buy a dozen packs of painkillers in batches of 2 by keep going back into the store and using a different till each time. The poor folk who need more than 2 packs of painkillers a week have to do the same or make several trips or an extra journey elsewhere ......and they are probably in PAIN!!

Afternoon at last.!!!!
Went out yesterday lunchtime with Ros. to see the Festival. We only went where we could park outside. Three stops, and that was enough for her. She has suffered since. These patches don't seem to be working, she put two on thursday evening, and no improvement.
I cooked a nice small roast dinner earlier. She looked at it and immediatley felt sick, so that went in the Fridge, see if she fancy's it later. If not WATCH OUT BIN. it's coming in there. She is in bed at the moment, feeling rather sick and in a lot of pain. Not just in my neck :-D :-D :-D :-D I love her really !!!
Plenty of work in progress then GIRLS. Won't it all look smart when it's finished ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
We must have had a lot of wind last night. When I went down the garden FOUR pots of tomato's had blown of the seat. !!! No damage thak goodness. So now left them on the bottom patio. Given them, and the greenhouse a good soaking, so they will be O.K. till tomorrow.
Will try to pop back later.
Bye for now.

Very busy morning, packing china, pictures and ornaments, house is beginning to echo! Poor Millie is hating it all and sitting on bags of bubble wrap and other 'muddle' giving us sad looks!!! Raining today on and off and quite chilly! Had a big clear out, hope I haven't been 'hasty' but it's mostly stuff that hasn't seen the light of day for years, and clearly never will! Talking of diaries, I'm going to try and keep a record of our move, and build, it might make interesting reading in a few years time, or horrifying!!!! Have just had late lunch, so must away to clear up, then back to the grind stone!! hope everyone's aches and pains are better today.

Afternoon everyone,
Very windy day here ,buts lots of nice sunshine .
We enjoyed our evening out last night ,went to three pubs all nice , we didn't go to eat ,we just went to try and find a nice pub to eat some time in the future ,as it happens we liked one of the pubs and have booked to go next week .
Sorry to hear your stomach's not to good today Fiona, you've probably got a bit stressed out with having work done in the house, and not being able to clear up as you'd like .
Kim , it sounds as if you now have the e b*y bug lol i must get son to show me how to do it and then i'll be able to sell a few things .
No sign of Frank again today , i expect he's enjoying his self at the festival . I'm looking forward to the new lot of WDYTYA , should be some interesting people coming on .
Oh dear David , having to change the locks already doesn't sound good !!! What happened ?

Getting locks changed on doors later today. There's a reason why. The kitchen is Ellen's idea. The present one is ok,but Ellen's quite rightly putting her stamp on things, which includes a new kitchen and tiled floor.
That ache/pain is sometimes radiating from around R eye socket, down cheek/jaw into side of neck to upper chest.Alarming sometimes.
I feel that the amalgam tatoo on upper gum may in some way be responsible.God knows.

Ann I am looking forward to Allan Carr on WDYTYA.He is from Northampton. Have we heard from Frank yet on how the festival is going? There is a Music Festival down in Cranford today, with all sorts going on.I don't think they have held one before.Hopefully these clouds will blow over.I think it may be in the fields belonging to Cranford Hall.Could be a bit messy though as there have been Sheep there for months :-S :-S
I bet Liz is busy packing!!! as David is finishing unpacking lol My Sister is still up to high doe after moving.Every time I speak to her she has a paintbrush in her hand.I'm actually quite worried about her as her BP is sky high and she still has this problem with painful legs with this fizzy feeling. All her bloods have come back normal .The Dr says they may have to look at Vascular trouble.I wish she could take things a bit easier, but she is like a whirling dervish lol

Afternoon everyone All these kitchens being done.Mine needs desperately to be decorated.I have wall paper coming away from the bottom and it looks dreadful.
Fiona I hope your Tum settles for you.It must be so unpleasant for you.
Pat I don't know how you are managing to cope with all the things that have not gone right. It just seems to go on doesn't it.Great that you have a little trip away soon.Something to look forward to.
Mel It must have been the wind that blew the caravan door open !!!!!.I hope you manage to get it all dried out.
Kim you are having more luck than me on eB**.I think maybe smaller things are easier to get rid of. It have been such a lovely morning bright and sunny and breezy. Not sure I like the look of whats up there now. Some rather dark clouds !!!!!
