Sounds like your work with the bungalow is coming on in leaps and bounds, will your carpet be a neutral shade,
Daughter no 1 house is a Barrett 3 bed semi been built 5 years now.
they watched it being built from the foundations up.
they have been in it for 3 years and all the carpets are a beige colour throughout.
I would love to do that with mine, we did change the landing, stairs and hallway about 3 years ago to a beige colour, it was a terrible dark red and when decorating the bedrooms (not ours) we put a cream colour in two and laminate in daughter no 2 old bedroom, our bedroom is the last to be decorated but I don't think that will be very soon there's always something else to spend the money on.

I have been catching up on some family history on OH side and I'm really tired , think I will stop now and go and watch some TV to relax

Ralph's improving but not any where near 100%

Ive been sleeping badly for a month or two awakening feeling shattered.
It's either my nocturnal neighbour or the pains ive been getting in my R leg.

Monday we are getting an estimate for the bungalow's carpet.Same colour theoughout,back to front and left to right.Possibilty of it being laid next week,if it doesn't break the bank.

Highly scented flowers have a similar effect on me Fiona.

Fiona ,there about 10 more Lillies ready to open.I think I may have to snip them off tonight.I never used to be affected by the scent.
I feel quite different now I have got rid of the ones that had opened .I feel so bad doing it knowing a lot of money was spent in sending me the flowers.I think I will have to be honest and say the next time I am sent flowers,to ask not to include Lillies. :-S :-S :-S

Oh dear Jane, James's suit hunt not going too well? A modern shirt collar and youthful tie can make a suit look very different. I bet he thinks he can see his dad in the mirror! lol Has he tried M*S.....OH always found their suits fitted him well. He needs to feel comfortable to look relaxed in an interview. Tell him it's 10 times worse for a girl to find something!!!!!

Well, more EXPENSE this morning for OH's car service and then they told him he needs 2 new front tyres as well and that the brakes and cambelt will need attention next time!! At least the bike puncture repair was cheap. These days they just put a new inner tube in. It brought back an old memory of dad repairing punctures and putting the inner tube in a washing up bowl of water and moving it round to see where the bubbles came out. I remember he used an old inner tube to cut the patches from and would rough up the surfaces with sandpaper before sticking the patch on.

This afternoon I parked on the library carpark under the trees next to a playing field to eat the icecream I'd just got!! Well, a man with 2 dogs appeared and he was throwing a ball with one of those stick things that hurls it a long way. The collie was waiting and crouching quite a way away and would always beat the little dog to the ball. I thought ahhh the little dog doesn't get a chance. Then I looked more closely and couldn't believe my eyes!! The collie would get the ball each time and would run towards the man and little dog still hurtling towards him.Without slowing the collie just dropped the ball near the liitle dog which would pick it up and race back with the collie and drop the ball at the man's feet!!! I thought the collie had just lost grip on the ball the first time, but every time the man threw the ball the collie would get it and drop it for the little dog to take back.

Suns out , the weather now is the best it's been all day.

OH just rang , he's back in the UK, Luton in fact. but his flight does not take off for Glasgow untill half past 10. that means he won't arrive in Glasgow till 11.30pm and then he has a 1/2 hours drive and should be home about 12.00, I am going to go and sleep in the back bedroom tonight so he does not disturb me when coming to bed.

Mel , I'm getting the error maintenance page occasionally to, since GR started changing the whole system things have never gone right.

Jane the smell of lilies makes me feel sick, I always throw them away if they are in any flowers I receive. it's a shame really.

I see what you mean about Donnie Sheila !! and Beryl looks quite glam.
The one of April with her drink is brilliant and little baby Matt is scrummy.

The big bouquet I had yesterday has quite a few Lillies that have started to open.The scent affects me quite badly and i am having to snip off the heads.I hate having to do it,but if I don't if makes me feel ill and my eyes go puffy.

Chris has just dug up another bag of new potatoes.They look good.I think they are Charlotte pots.I have picked the last of the peas now and I think the last of the Broad Beans tomorrow.Dwarf beans are looking a treat :-D :-D

Well so much for the big shopping spree.James didn't really fancy any of the suits.He felt most of them were more suited to his Dad.I did have to agree unfortunately .So the big shop was 3 pairs of pants and a bra for me lol.
James is now looking on the computer at suits.He hasn't got long!!!.I am worn out now.

Sheila I got your photos.They are brilliant.Such a collection lol.I thought my pants were big but they look minute compared to your friends :-D :-D :-D

Anne it sounds like you have had a lovely time with the family.How nice that Lucy is a placid baby.I forget how old she must be now.

Hi Mel Sorry about your washing english weather what a pain.
i have had that happen a few times. I am busy too busy would love a holiday but my little dog took priority this year. Now ther little chap seems to have a stiff back leg and cannot run up the stairs.

Kim I got your test message and sent some pictures do not know if they
got to you chuckie egg. I see by reading a few threads you had trouble with vets fees for a doggie. We love our pets.
Travelling must have been a problem for you .I only have to go a few roads to our vet. i have trouble with other dogs .One great big boxer almost ate Jasper the other day. He jumped on the little chap and mulled him all over his back he was covered in his drippings and the man who owned him was so rude. He said he thinks it is dinner. I never answered him Some very sweet lady bought a little dog in and his dog did the same thing and she kicked the boxer up the rear end. To the horror of the receptionist who said. We do not behave like that in here. i just smiled and thought what goes round comes round Most times its very calm though and the vet is good.

My brother was going to Australia I told Kim but he cannot afford the flight
now The increase in fuel and everything sent prices rocketing and his son is not too good having marriage problems.But they were going to a wedding.

Medication makes me feel awful .Pain killers are the worse.It was hot the other day and I took a pain killer.I woke up burning all over and had terrible shakes and was panicky and started crying and begging my ho to take me out. I sat in the warehouse car park talking to the security man and felt ok then but it was a dreadful feeling.He was a funny man he made me laugh. I only got taken to the warehouse thats my life.

I am going now to cook the dinner only salad so wont faint .My ho made me laugh he said when you faInted you bust the door stopper. I said oh next time I will tell you I am going to faint and you can remove the door stopper .He said thats ok just faint a bit further away and went out.

I did a bit more book about my witches .All my witches made jam and they
sold it at a fete it sold well the jam but was made out of ground up frogs and puppy dogs tails. I read a bit at the school it was my afternoon reading session which is every few weeks and the kids loved it . i asked for ideas for the book and spells and you would be amazed what horrific things they came up with. Slime custard and frog spawn jelly. horrible.I had a giggle when one little chap said how about chocolate covered toe nails.I bought the subject to a end it got a bit out of control.

Well will go now I am determined to read some threads and then have a rest my ankles are so swollen. Have a lovely evening everyone.

Oh that seemed to work but I* still can't get on the right page the usual way. As Frank has said I keep getting the white page come up with Error on it and it also gives a time they are working on the site???

Had two loads of washing out on the line since this morning and then it fell out the sky. Rushed out to get some of the first lot in and got soaked myself so I left the other things on the lines. Did it just again, falling straight down and now everything is wetter than when it went out. It will have to go back in the machine for another spin and I shall be back to the start again.

Sheila nice to hear from you love. You seem to keep very busy.

poor Ros, I know what it's like when you are given new medication. I always get side effects somehow. if she can't eat maybe just drinking pleanty of fluids is best.

Porch finished, Two coates of each on ceiling and walls, have also done the door frame with Sadolin also the porch door step. Looks nice and fresh. Got the cabinet back. I will leave the ornoments for Ros to put back.

She still isn't eating, and feels sick all the time. Can't seem to tempt her with anything. I will get myself something later. I have told her if this continues I will have her up the doctors next week. The doctor started her on new tablets yesterday. Two three times a day. She took the first two, and was as sleepy as one of the dwarfs.. She didn't take anymore yesterday, and only took half of a tablet this morning. She is sound asleep on the sofa at the moment.

Very unsettled weather here, scattered showers, and very windy. Looks as though we are going to get a downpour.

Have watered the greenhouse and outside tomato plants. Will give them a feed over the weekend. Broadbeans are ready for picking, nice a small as she likes them. (if she will eat them)

I can't get on here today so am trying to get to the last page to catch up!!

Hi sent some photoes to people whoes e mails I had hope they get there.
Gosh so many threads it would take a week to answer them all and many new people. How does everyone find the time to write so much.I seem to need more hours in my day. I sit down to send a thread and somebody calls me for something.

I haved not seen Beryl and Donnie for a while I have been busy cleaning up rubbish the students left behind which was done by the Neigbourhood
Watch volunteers who bagged it all up from along our road and along came some yobby kids and cut them all open and strewn it all over the place again. So my ho and I went and did our bit and re cleaned it up.

Just watched a lovely film called Mandy with Mandy Miller Jack Hawkins and Phillis Calvert about a little deaf girl. Saw a horrid sad film the other
day Never let me go about children who were cloned to give organs and the final one is the heart and of course they die and two fall in love it had a good write up but I found it disturbing it was from a japenese writers noval.
but it was to tell people they should donate.I have a card but I not sure mine would be much good. now.

My garden is looking great for a change lots of flowers and apart from two
squirrels that come and knock over my plant pots with seeds in it is fine.
My Tunisison son in law got me a hedge cutter from the boot sale four pound it is like a huge tin can type of hedge cutter is the only way to describe it and I refuse to use it leave that to my ho.

April just phoned she did make me laugh she said she had lost a tooth and the blinking tooth fairy had forgotton her wait till I cop her she said will flatten her. I said April look under your pillow she said its on the floor
i did not sleep well last night. I gave up. My grandaughter is growing up far to fast.

Sophia my Russian friend decided to bake some cookies orange and chocolate she bought me a huge plate full but I cannot have any with my
diabetic state. I said Sophia dont you eat all those and she said what you doing telling me not eat my cookies I bake cookies are for eating silly
women. I said ok then eat them .I did send some pictures of her huge undies hope they got there. Well will have a little read now of a few threads. Beryls got a beautiful voice and she is singing in Birmingham tomorrow in a choir from her area of the Lickey Hills a lovely song called I will follow him from the film Sister Act. I love that song. Want that played when I die. Starts off really slow then all that clapping .Anyone seen that film they sing it for the pope the choir Whoppie Goldberg plays a nun.

Hi Everyone. Back from my travels again and I must apologies for forgetting Janes birthday yesterday HOPE YOU HAD A LOVELY DAY :-D :-D
The family are all well and it was so nice being able to play out in the paddling pool with Hazel. She will be 3years old on Monday and she is having a swimming party for a few of her friends.As we will not be around we gave her presents out on Sunday and it was wonderful just to see the happiness in her eyes.
Baby Lucy is a dear and is happy just to sit watching her sister dashing around. She is very placid and gives lots of smiles.
Hubby went off to Gatwick from Berko and I drove his new car home. It's a couple of years since I drove as far but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I did it in a little over 4 hours which really pleased me. There was very little traffic on the M1 so I guess they knew I was coming and got out of the way!!
The weather here today is mixed with warm sunshine one moment and rain the next. Think I might tidy up all my family history papers which seem to be scattered around the house at the moment.B>F>N. :-)

Have started on the porch, got two coates of white on the ceiling, ready to start the walls when the ceiling is dry. Pulled out the downlighters to paint the ceiling, now the Bugg### won't stay in the ceiling. Will ask my young neighbour to have a look when he comes home this evening.

Couldn't get on here this morning ERROR notice. It's about time they got this sorted out.

Rained most of the morning , the suns trying to peep through but theres a bit of a wind.
Iv'e an easy day today not got any thing inportant to do or anywhere to go, just printed some photo's off to send to MIL of daughter no 1 holiday in Italy and some of Sofia playing in the garden during the last spell of nice weather we had, I will post them at the box round the corner.

Enjoy your shopping trip Jane, or maybe not if James is like my OH he does not like shopping especially for himself,

Quite sunny here at the moment but I don't think it will last. It was very windy in the night, made the doors rattle.

Hope James gets sorted on a suit Jane......should be plenty of choice at MK. It is ages since I last went......when OH went to a match there. Hope you have comfy shoes on!!! lol

Well I better scoot now.........have to pick up OH from the garage where he's dropping his car for service. He will be carrying his bike wheel so I hope it will go in my boot!!
