Morning All

Frank I remember using a bike pump too to sqirt water, and fighting with my younger brother over it..

Frank

Frank Report 4 Jul 2011 09:57

Morning, Very humid here this morning. Sun hasn't broken through yet.

Had my shower and shaved, sitting in my underpants at the pooter with all doors and windows open.

Annx I never had water pistols, we used a bike pump, you could really give the other kids a sore leg, with the pressure it came out. I now play with the lads next door and two doors down. When I am watering the garden they come and asked to be sprayed. Their parents don't mind, and they go in doors soaked to the skin.!!!!!

It all happens for PAT today, If I were her I would get in the garden out of the way, and let them get on with it.

Jane, How would anybody have guessed what that chap played ????
You do treat me as an idiot. :-D :-D :-D :-D enough said !!!!

Hope Mel, is feeling a bit better today, must be very difficult with all that garden needing constant attention.

Ros, is going to venture out today, I neen to go the post office to post some things, and go to Tesc#. She can sit in the car, if she wants to, Don't hold your breath. She will want a nosey round !!!

I bet FRANK was a little devil with water pistols! lol

Sofia will want the pool out every time she comes now Fiona. If you are keeping it for when she comes to you, you will have to hide it at times.

I'm glad your back is improving Mel. It amazes me when your back hurts just how much you use it. It seems to be in everything you do. I did some chicken tonight ready for tomorrow too.

Ouch! Did your OH have sandals on Mandy! I am always stubbing mine on the back wheels of supermarket trolleys when I have my sandals on.

Jane, that chap must have to duck to get through doorways. I bet you felt very small next to him. Still, you have a bit more room at home now! I hope you get on alright at the dentist tomorrow. It's good to have an early appointment, get it out of the way and not spoil the day.

OH made me laugh coming home from his mum's. He was keen to get home quick and go inside. I'll show you why when we get inside he said. Well as soon as we were inside he was unbuckling his belt!!!! Let's just say the cheap pants he bought the other week weren't up to the job!!! I told him there were too many sandwiches in his lunchbox! lol

It seems as if it will be a hot night here, so I'm off to bed now......

I wonder how Shirl is........haven't heard from her for a while.

Evening all
Been outside all day , church this morning then out with my chair and enjoyed this fine weather we are having at last. we had lunch outside and then spent an hour or two potting plants. then SIL & Sofia down at 3.00pm . I bought a paddling pool for Sofia and she's had a great time splashing in and out of the water. and splashing everyone else as well.
She had her swimming costum on at first but I must have gone through another 2 pairs of shorts as she kept wanting to play with the watering can and got soaked twice
We have just come in now as the sun has gone down behind next door, only thing about having a BBQ is all the dishes you have to carry outside and then carry them all back in again.

Must clear up the kitchen now and put on the dish washer.

I love sitting and soaking my feet , i get my book and settle down , i put a little salt in the water , i have one of those foot spa's ,but i usually just use a bowl, when they've had a good soak it feels like your walking on air LOL

Mel, glad to hear your back is feeling better today , don't do anything to upset it again ,keep taking it easy .

Maureen, that must be a huge boot sale to take five hours to walk round , the one we go to takes us about an hour , i could get carried away buying all sorts , what i did see , but didn't buy ,was one of those bells that you have hanging outside the door , they have them in pubs to call time , i quite fancy having one at the back door just for show ,not to use .

Jane , that's one tall man !!! have you a rick in your neck from looking up to him LOL

Just popped in quickly to say hello, I'm making the most of this weather and have spent the last few days in the garden. Have bought a new table and chairs to go with my posh decking. It has been warm and sunny with a lot of cloud, evertime the sun goes in I get off my chair and do a bit of gardening then when the sun comes out I rush back to my seat again.

I hope this latest injection works for Ros Frank, is it too early to tell, and what have you been doing, I'm surprised you've got a leg to stand on ....lol what with being bitten and grazing your shin.

I remember those noddles, you had to fry them in very hot oil and I always burned them, and wasn't there a little sachet of probably soya sauce that went with it.

I bet you will miss Hannah, you are now outnumbered Jane, three to one counting Chester.

Loved the photos Ann, I wonder how they got that grass to stay on the side doors.

Hello to everyone, hope your back is better Mel, and both Fiona and Kim are feeling okay.

I love the boot sales too Mandy, spent about five hours wandering around one on Saturday, gives you an idea of how big it is. Normally to get there would take me about 15/20 minutes when the boot sale is on it takes about an hour.

Going to start dinner, omelette and salad.

Hello all,

Went out this morning with oh to the garden centre to get some fish food and we had dinner there so I have'nt got to cook tonight really but have just chucked a chicken in the oven which we will have cold tomorrow.

It has been a really beautiful day here and very hot.

My back is much easier today, I am glad to say.

The minuet I read about those dried meals the name Vesta came into my head. Do you know you can still buy them. we used to buy the beef curry ones and the ones with crispy noodles Frank. You could also buy the noodles on their own.

If you go onto Mail on Line, and click onto 'new's Jane, you and Ann will be able to read it for yourselves. It's quite unbeliveable, this wretched woman wrote all this guff on Twitter, of course she is now trying to backtrack,!bit late for that!!! Doesn't the new Duchess look thin? hope she's OK. Don't know about you but I think they make a handsome couple!

How dreadful Liz......it makes you wonder what on earth goes on in some people's heads. They must have mighty big chips on their shoulders, no compassion and unbelievable callousness.

Jane, I WOULDN'T KNOW :-S :-S :-S :-S Would it be anything to do with a BALL :-D :-D :-D

We have had dinner, and the dish washer is on.

Been putting clocks on Eba#. One in a slate and marble made in the 1880s with a french movement. Bit tatty, but people do buy these things. We will see.

Nice afternoon here now, clear skies and warm.

Liz ,i don't think I have heard about that. Why would they say such a dreadful thing.Shame on them.
Ann now you have reminded me.My feet could do with a good soaking and scraping lol,and then a good rub with some good foot cream.
Hannah's friend came to collect the goods with her partner who is 6ft 10".
