Morning All,
Home alone as usual on Saturday morning, seeing her friend Martinna, will be going round Morris### as we speak.
Ros went out with a friend who has just returned from their appartment in Tenneriffe. She needed some shopping so Ros went along for the ride. While they were out, a Paramedic pulled up outside the house. Went dashing in next door (the clumsey neighbour) 10 minutes later an Ambulance turned up, While they were in there, Ros turned up. She nearly had a heart attact. She thought is was ME. It turned out that Valerie didn't feel well and thought she was going to be sick. Tony went to get a bucket, BUT TOO LATE. bought up a load of BLOOD all over the furniture and carpet. Took her in hospital, as the latest is they have given her a blood transfusIon, and keept waking her every half hour during the night to take her blood pressure. Looks like thet will keep her in. They think it might be a ulcer.
Funny ol' day here again, No sun, plenty of high cloud, with a cool breeze.. I was going to clean the windows this morning, but I will wait till I get my new STEPS>!!!!! Further to fall. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Morning All Well after a very wet night here ,the rain seems to have gone and the blue sky is quickly coming through. It feels muggy already.
Ann,how exciting finding that out about your ancestor.Did you get any sleep after discovering that??I don't think I would have. The conditions on the ship would have been dreadful in 1714.Did he take family with him ?Ironing Board is up and waiting for me.But it can hang on as I need to go to Tes**
Frank did you say Ros is having her next injections on Monday?

Morning Ann and All,
It rained like anything here last night as I was sitting watching a bit of Glastonbury!! I was thinking of Hannah but the crowd all had smiles on their faces and were singing along with the groups.
Ann that is interesting about your ancestor and how nice to find an artical about him.
Well it is still very wet in Devon today and OH has to go out to ring for a wedding this morning.
I have'nt let the chickens out yet so off to do that now.

Yes, it is really pouring now as well. Poor Hannah, it will be squelchy in the morning I bet.
Well, I'm cock- a- hoop over my family tree!! lol I've just got back the furthest I've managed on any part of it by adding 3 generations!! It seems one of my direct ancestors was a Quaker who went to America in 1714.......imagine sailing to America in 1714!!! I found an article about him and his family and it said he was one of the first elders of the Richland Preparative Meeting In 1725. He was praised for being a constant, zealous attendant of meetings of worship and discipline!! I told OH and typical, he said he recognised the discipline trait! Even more typical he said if I was a Quaker, would it mean there would be more o*ts!!! lol, lol ;-) ;-)
Better be off to bed now........I was still awake at 3.30 am this morning......when the dawn chorus started! I suppose I will lie awake thinking about this Quaker man now travelling to America on the high seas in a boat with big sails. Night night xx.

I thought of your spa when I saw the weather news Mandy!!! :-) Sunday and Monday are going to be really hot aren't they!!
Glad to hear the swelling in your leg is going down Anne. I thought your hubby may be interested in the pics. I have been looking at the webcam on one of the nests today.
I bet you thought 'hooray' when you got the go ahead Pat. Now you can get things moving at last and look forward to being straight again. I think we will be at B*Q next wednesday (10% discount day for us seniors ;-)) to get the other waterbutt and bits.
Mel, what a cheeky pigeon!! I bet it left quite a bit of mess too........good job you spotted it though or there would have been MORE washing to do!!
Kim, I hope you have a great day with your old friends and all your memories. It sounds great with all the nice food your OH is preparing too.
Frank........WHOA!! You........STEPS? I hope they are 'Frankproof' and that the extra step doesn't mean further to fall. !! Do be careful won't you. :-(
I can just see Hannah in her binbag too! lol I hope she can send a pic. lol It is all part of the fun when you are with your friends though! I can just imagine the loos. :-S Jane, they need to wrap those bin bags around your floormats before they set foot in it to come back! lol

Gosh I did laugh at Hannah in a bin bag :-D but what a good idea, I hope she has plenty with her. As you say it will be another experience to add to her acheivements1 Bless..........
Done the shopping and it is all put away.
Anne I have about 6 and a half acres of garden so you now see why I am not on here much in the summer. OH has cut all the lawns outside the house, very short. Also started to cut someof the box hedge which runs right up the first walled garden. Ann and Jane know how big that is. We did'nt cut it last year as the year before he really cut it back quite hard. He never likes to do it too early because there are always a lot of birds nest in it.
Gammon steaks tonight, nice and esy and I better get on with them otherwise I shall be told off again for a late dinner
:-P

Humid too they say ,so it will be all fans out here for me.You will enjoy that spa lol It has just started raining here.Washing grabbed in just in the nick of time. I feel so sorry for Hannah and her friends. There aren't used to muck .I would love to see the state of their hair !!!Not a Hair straightener between them, and just a dry shampoo. She did say that she has been to the 'peace' field and had a body massage lolol.I'm sure Glastonbury will have been an experience she will remember forever !!.Something to tell the children(when she has some)

Wash,Iron,Wash,Iron.Wash Iron.!! Guess what I have been doing ALL day lol
Kim have a great day with your friends tomorrow. You will all have Jaw Ache from the talking and laughing .
Pat I think you may be mixing Sheila and Shirl.Sheila is Sheila and Shirl is Tracey, but not really Tracy lol Great news that you are now dry and ready to start getting everything done.
Hannah just rang from her binbag. She is sitting in one. They are all having great fun,but things are grim.(mud wise). She said everything is such hard work because of the conditons.Says this will be a one off for her. No-one has been for a poo yet as facilities pretty dire lol.She said it took 8 hours from when they arrived to getting the tent up,and they were all so exhausted they could hardly even speak to eachother as it was to much effort.I have asked her to see if she can email me a pic from her phone. If I get one I will share it with you all.I dread to think what condition my car will come back in.maybe it's best not to think about that right now. I better get James dinner in as he is off for a game of tennis in a while . Back in a while

Kim.....I have just taken alot of things down the charity shop...Sometimes its not worth the hassle of trying to sell things on Eb*y
At the moment i have been exchanging books with my neighbour...I have all Catherine Cookson books which I have collected over the years..I will keep these for a while..
Glad you are feeling better Anne
Frank I could do with a little step ladder..it would save me climbing on

achair..I am only just 5ft and half an inch...
Fiona I hope you feel better soon to.
Mel...our stupid neighbour likes to put bread out for the birds on the grass...I hate pigeons..

Just popping in quickly for amoment...We have had the go ahead for our kitchen to be started in about 2 weeks time..
As they had to take some tiles off the bathroom to dry the damp...it all has to be retiled as well now... The bathroom is mostly tiled...
So we are going to pay extra to have a different bathroom suit put in before they tile...So tomorrow we are off to choose some kitchen tiles and also bathroom tiles at a place they recommend..then to B Q to look for abathroom suit to be here for when they start...
We have been haggling over some of the added costs tho...

It's a lovely day here today so we are thinkling of having a BBQ!! Have been to seeMIL this morning for coffee and scones ( she makes wonderful scones) and spending the afternoon watching the tennis. The swelling in my leg has improved a lot and am feeling much better. Jane Congratulations to James and I hope he soon settles into everyday lifeI expect he is enjoying having mum to wash and cook for him and give him a jolly good spoil!! Hannah should be happily covered in mud by now but I think Glastonbury is more main stream now than it was in our day but still a great experience non the less. Fiona Hope your symptoms are improving and I am sure you will begin to improve when hubby gets home. Mel You must have a huge garden, much bigger than ours. Ann Hubby loved your photographs. Greetings to everyone else and back soon. :-) :-)

Kim, If you look on Ebay. and find a book title in the listings, that you have for sale, you can "sell one like this" and it will bring up the decription. I have sold books like that. Also It won't cost a fortune to put them on Ebay. Make sure you cover the cost of P & P.
That is a long time not seening your friends, I should not say anything. I haven't seen mine in oner 60 years.!!!! I do talk on Email though.
Did I mention. Harvey and Family gave me a £30.00 voucher for Amerz## for Fathers day. So yesterday I bought myself a three step step ladder. The one I have is only two. So it will be better for cleaning the windows. Which I might add need doing. I sprayed all over the conservatory last night while watering. Marks all over the windows. What am I like :-) :-) :-)
Dull ol' day here now. lots of cloud, and we could get some wet stuff.
Jane Hows Hannah doing, WEB FEET YET :-D :-D :-D
