A poet in our midst.!!!! Well I never. Will have a look later.

Jane do those pantie things come up over your belly,???? If so I think Ros wears them. :-D :-D :-D real passion killers, Not that I have ever seen her in them. NOT ALOUD ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-). Will have to have a peep, when she's not looking.

Thought you would all like the sign. If you need your Bottom blacking, You know where to come. :-D :-D

I was asked years ago by a friend to look after his tropical fish, while he was on holiday. We had a power cut, and all his electrics went haywire, and the temp.droped in his tanks, and they all DIED. I flushed them all down the TOILET. and left a message for him, to that effect. He said not to worry. I was thinking of getting RID of them anyway.!!!!! Thanks a bunch !!!

We have had a smashing day here, very warm sunshine, I sat out this afternoon, on my lounger, reading my book. Watered the greenhouse and outside tomato's.
We had Ratatouille tonight with Pork Chop and new potato's. She ate quite a bit, so that a good sign. I couldn't eat all mine, and it's the first thing I have had all day.

Going back to undies and comfy pants.I have just got a pair of those"Magic" ones.I wan something to hold that midriff of mine in for the wedding.Lord knows if I will be able to breathe.I think I will wait until tomorrow to try them on.They are flipping expensive.Has anyone else had them?NOT you Frank ;-)

Ann your poor leg sounds really nasty.I hope those antibiotics kick in soon.

Poor Sofia. So many little ones are scared out of their wits with the giant Mickeys etc.I have a photo of Hannah sat on Santas lap bawling her eyes out.

Anne I worry too when I have a lot of plants to look after for my neighbour.
I remember years ago when I was nursing and living in a flat ,the people downstairs asked if I would look after their very sick one week old kitten while they went out for a few hours. The poor little thing died on me :-S :-S :-S.So I had to leave a note on their door with the little kitty covered over in his box.It was awful.
Must go for now my sister is on the phone.

It's always a bit of a worry looking after other people's plants or animals isn't it Anne........you don't want anything to expire while in your care!

Mandy I like the sound of comfy pants, will perhaps try some as some of mine are ready for the bin.....Lucy Lastic!! Yes I was very lucky to get an appointment today. It's usually much harder than that! The bite is spreading around the back of my leg now........trying to meet itself the other side! I am going with OH tonight to listen to a talk on future policing in the area. I daren't cover the bottom of my legs up as it will itch like mad.....I will look as if I stuck it on a barbeque.

Thanks for passing the book on and will look out for it. Does anyone else want to read it after me??

Poor little Sophia........will she ever like MM again Fiona. What a fright for her.....a bit like seeing Father Christmas the first time. My baby sister had a toy cat with a butterfly on a length of wire. You wound it up and it walked and every so often it made a loud zzzzzzz and shook its head making the butterfly wave about. She screamed her head off every time she saw it after it scared her the first time. Mum ended up giving it away.

The fridgefreezer is mended now, the clock that operates the frostfree mechanism had broken. I never had a frostfree one before......something else that can go wrong! MORE EXPENSE.....£60 but still cheaper than a new fridgefreezer. Just need some fresh food to go in it now......will do a shop later.

Thanks for all the e-mails everyone and lovely pics from your walk today Frank. Black Bottoming made me smile!! Are those orange things floats for the boats?

Hi Everyone

Had a busy couple of days. Took MIL to her brothers in Hartlepool on Monday and gleaned more information on hubbies family tree. Tuesday I was at TIC followed by lunch with friends and yesterday I went to the chiripodist followed by the afternoon in the Archives.
Hubbies first week away has flown by and now there is less than i week to his return. Guess I should do some housework this weekend. I have been making biscuits for a coffee evening tonight and am watching Le Tour on the tele as it is a mountain stage today.
Thanks to all for the e mails and photos. The sun is shining so I must water everything tonight again. Thankfully neighbours garden seems to be ok up to now!!! :-D :-D

Afternoon everyone,

Jane , i must admit i tittered too LOL
i had a Bra like that, it sort of ....well.....pointed the way shall i say :-D

I bought some new Knickers from Tesc*'s yesterday ,they are those ones that look like men's boxer shorts , they are called seam free shorts soft touch , they are so comfortable , i thought they would be a bit clingy and make me hot but no they are the best i've worn for ages ,so i've been out today and got some more £4 for 2 pairs .

Rainy here today and not very warm .

Oh Fiona, poor little Sofia ,what a shame she was so frightened , at least she got to play the games and have her picnic before Micky frightened her.

Ann, good job you got in to the doctors , it must be a bad bite if you need the antibiotics !! hope they do the trick for you.
Have posted Jane's book to you this morning ,good read .

Afternoon All

Weather lovely today, Daughter no 1 dropped me at home 10 mins ago . Sofia was asleep in her car seat, she has had a busy morning.
we were inside a community Hall for the Teddy Bears Picnic. it was very warm. We played games and sang songs, sat on a picnic blanket and had our snack then Mickey Mouse came( one of the organisers dressed up) Sofia was terrified and clung to her mum they also had a bubble machine on but Sofia would not even come down off her mums knee to play with the bubbles incase Mickey Mouse came near her.
She was happy to wave him goodbye. even then was nervous in case he came back through the door lol :-)

Well I think it's time for some lunch, I don't know what we are doing this afternoon, OH had a meeting at the bank this morning and he is not back yet , something to do with his Pensions, he will be 55 next year, so he is making sure his pensions are in the right place, he would love to retire early, but not sure yet what plans he will sort out

going to get some lunch and sit in the sun

Jane you and your bra made me titter!!! (titter...... lol, oh sorry). I was in a shop a couple of weeks ago and 2 ladies were worried about their senior school age daughters' bras. Apparently they were hoisting things ever higher while their necklines were plunging ever lower!! One woman said her daughter was nearly able to rest her chin on them!! lol They were both worried that their daughters had male teachers and that they did not realise it wasn't fair to be falling out of their clothes. I bet 'Sadie' would have sorted them out.

Vincent and Flavia were superb! The show was being filmed at their Bristol performance and then beamed live by satellite to over a hundred cinemas. I think it was better than being there as you were close enough to see all the detail on the dresses (and beads of sweat.......!!) It was set in a Buenos Aires bar and had a bit of comedy in it too. The dancing was breathtaking and all of it was fastpaced Argentine Tango with dresses slit all over the place but high to the waist. The men wore slicked back hair and baggy trousered suits, tight around the BTM, with braces, trilby hats and two tone shoes. I love the music too. OH wasn't sure he'd like it, but couldn't stop saying how good and uplifting it was. He was still talking about it today.

This morning I took my car in for the new wing mirror to be fixed. I arrived in the carpark there at 8.00am and on a strip of grass in front of where I parked a young fox was sunning himself. I took a pic which I will try and send later.

I had a poor night's sleep with my bite, itching like mad but I managed to not scratch it at all, kept dangling the leg out of the bed to try and cool it. This morning it looked as if a big area around it was going pink and the red part was getting blistery and no smaller. I decided to call in the chemist and see what they thought and they said to see a doctor with it as it wasn't responding at all to the anti histamines I was still taking. Got in with a 5 minute emergency appointment and the doctor took one look and said it was infected. Now I have 5 days antibiotics to take as well as the anti histamines. I know these will upset my tum for the first 2-3 days.......something to look forward too!!

Morning Just!!

Have'nt caught up with all your posts yet.

Was busy in the garden yesterday and tired at night!

I had one of those blister bites and the docs said there were a few of them about at the time.

I too thought they were real monkey's at first and had to read further before I realized.

Sun is shining and the garden is calling. Oh is getting bricks from over the secret garden for up the edge of the driveway.

Morning Kim and all

I hope Fiona is enjoying the Teddy Bears Picnic with Sofia and that the weather is kind.

Kim I have worn the Bra.It does fit,but makes me look huge.Actually no-one commented so maybe it is just me .It is a completely different type to the ones I normally wear.I will try it with different styled tops and see what looks better.
I am off to pick up another one today.I am having trouble finding one that doesn't show in my wedding outfit. :-(
This afternoon it is the hairdressers for a root job and cut.

I bet Ann had a great time last night at the show.
Chris has just come back from Waitr*** with bags of food ,so I better go and supervise and see what goodies he has got.I did spy a lovely big joint of Beef. :-D :-D

Hello all,

Girls I was being polite (monkeys). We had 4 rotten little sods riding their scooters around the street and stealing mail, lol. They took off very suddenly and haven't seen them back today. They might be up from Sydney staying with grandparents or the like. The neighbour was very upset that they had been all over her property while she was away.

Mel and Frank thanks for the advice on those handwarmers. Keith has checked on the net, not much available in Aus. Saw something that was battery operated; most things were listed for England and Europe. I could wear snow gloves - they might do the trick.

Mandy your poor sister-in-law!!!! I have never heard of an operation like that and it still didn't bring her relief. What a thing to go through :-0 :-0 I know when I was younger and worked in a very cold, stone building that I had a lot of trouble typing. I was about 17 and noticed that I had no colour in my fingers in winter - just thought it was me!!! They had to get me a heater that went all day because I couldn't get warm.

Pat you must be up and around by now. Hope they get all your units installed today.

Jane I loved Hattie Jacques and her big boobs. The Carry On movies were wonderful. Can you take if back and say it doesn't fit properly?? They probably won't accept returned underwear - are the labels still on it?

Shirl good to hear from you, hope you haven't hit a whale at sea. You have been busy!!! How was the trip to Toronto??? Hope your son is doing a little better.

Sheila, so funny they exploded in the microwave - would like to have been a bug on the wall to see that :-D :-D My kids are always doing that with food, never covering anything and pasta and sauces going everywhere. OH is always cleaning our oven :-( :-( Have a good day on Friday.

Fiona enjoy the Teddy Bears Picnic - hope the weather stays good for you.

Frank good to hear that Ros was able to eat her meal yesterday. Things might be improving - fingers crossed.

Hello to anyone I might not have mentioned. It has been sunny and a little warmer here today. I got some washing done whilst OH cleared out the gutters. We had a chat to Glenda over the fence, but she got very teary and took off inside - the police chaplain had been to check on her and stirred things up a bit. We are all having our off days and missing Rod so much. Fortunately, Glenda and her daughter Kim are going to spend a couple of weeks in the US with her sister, leaving on 8/8. A change might be very good for her at this point, so many memories and reminders everywhere at home. Rod would want her to go, as they had a trip planned for August, before he got ill.

Off to watch the news. Take care and have a good day. 5.39 pm EST
