Been raining through the night and still raining now,

Been looking up webb sites this morning about acid reflux and what causes heartburn and the different ways I can help my heartburn now that I can't take the perscribed medicine I was given, till they sort out the white blood cells problem
I was checking the food that I can and cannot eat, was pleased to see I eat most of the right foods BUT I will have to cut out Chocolate :-( stop the coffee :-( and stop eating tomatoes which are another of the citris fruits that aggrevate the stomache.
I think I can manage to do without the tomatoes there no big loss, I am going to struggle with the chocolate and the coffee though.

FRANK, I can still go for my coffee getogethers but will now have to drink just fruit teas, instead of coffee and hot chocolate , that will be a shock to the system. lol :-0

Well I got a couple of my new pics on my tree yesterday and managed to send some back to Mike in Oz. I am so pleased to have a picture of my gt gt gran at last after all these years. Shje looks a bit frightening though!! but she was very hard working. Her daughter, my gt gran had 14 children and only one that I know of died. Thats is quite an acheivement seeings as they lived in a two up two down house.

Hope Kim is ok as we have'nt heard from her and Sheila too.

Mandy, no I did'nt have to take my chest to the docs, thank you just have a bit of a sore throat today. Probably too much smoking last night as I stayed up till 2.30 watching Case Histories.

Has anyone watch Whitechapel?? I thought of our Jane whilst watching it as it was about you know who.

Longest day of the year, today. I don't know why, bur the week before this I am awake at the first sign of daylight. Is it the DRUID comming out in me ???? this has gone on for many years. Now I should start to sleep through for a normal 7/8 hours. Strange really.

Was up having tea at six, tummy seems to have settled down,thank goodness.

Not a very special day here yet, very cloudy with a breeze.

My little darling is still in the land of nod. But then again she sits up till one in the morning, watching her Medical programmes, and QVC

If it stays dry if,if,if. I will get the lawns cut today. I seeded round the edge of the lawn under a bush yesterday. covered it with soil, and put bubble wrap over it, to dray it on a bit. I just hope it takes.

David, Your "BUILDERS" have been busy. Don't let them get carried awat, or you will end up with a SHELL :-D :-D :-D :-D

Evening all
Been a lovely day here sunny and warm , got all my washing dry, and even sat outside to eat my lunch. did my coffee duty this afternoon and thats the last duty, church coffee centre closes at the end of this week, as our schools close for the summer holidays, and the church centre follows the same pattern will reopen at the end of August when the schools go back.

daughters boyfriend gave me a selection of his photo's that he took at daughter no 2 Graduation, just the same as I took but he has edited some of them. will have to see which ones I want to print for my album.

well !!! I'm off to bed now with my book and a drink,

No rain so far ,at least Toby got his walk in the dry , we saw three little ducks on the river ,it was lovely out there tonight .

My phone bleeps some times if i've forgotten to turn it off , but its the smoke alarm that makes the noise when it needs new battery's , why does it always want battery's in the middle of the night !!!

I think i've seen that sticky back plastic in Wilkin*ons , i remember mum used to have a dresser thingy in the kitchen and she use to cover the bit above the drawers with it , i remember she use to cut the bread on the top and there would be all cut marks on it !!

Jane , is it the hair that keeping the rabbits away ,or could it be that they've seen Chris with the gun :-D

Phew ! it is flipping muggy here tonight.I think just a sheet on top tonight. ;-)

Two fire places removed in two rooms and there former space plastered over.The wall that was comming down still standing as no skip today.

Drained system has been filled and tested,including the boiler.
Kitchen sink and some units getting changed tomorrow if it goes to plan.

Ellen want new bath and shower so need estimate for that,should have got that earlier.

Fence comming down later in the week.
Apart from that nowt's happening.

It would be my Mums 91st Birthday today.I wish I wasn't so far away as I would love to be able to put some flowers down the churchyard for her.But it's the thought that counts.

After Chris put that loose human hair around where the rabbits come in,I haven't seen one today.Maybe it really does work!

Spag Bol tonight.Hannah won't be in until late as she is going to pick a key up for a house where she will be renting a room for 2 months in Stoke Newington London.One of the girls who lives there is going travelling for July and August and was wanting to let her room out.There are 2 other girls and a bloke.Hannah said they seemed to be her type of people,so I hope she will love being there.Trouble is she won't want to come back here in September lol.

It's still called Fablon Frank.I got in B&*.Not much choice ,but I didn't care what it looked like as it will covered up by towels.bedding and some of James's things.He has 2 clear big shelves in there now.It's only taken me about 20 to sort lolol.I dread to think how many dust mites I have inhaled.I'm all sneezy and sno**y now.

Have put in some stocks this afternoon and had a tidy round.Overcast here now, so I have watered. The runner beans are growing well up the fence and ties. Broad beans looking good.

Ros went out and bought a new TENS machine on Saturday, can't find the one we have. It seems to help with the pain in her hip and down the leg. She jumps a bit when she turns it on,with the vibration. I should be so lucky :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I see our Shirl is OK., but not getting the weather like us at the moment.

Kim, I hope you are over the funeral now, and getting back to some normallity.

Jane, I didn't know they still did the sticky back plastic stuff, we use to use

Forgot to say this morning was warm and sunny then it started to rain and has'nt stopped much since.

I had lost one of the bantams two days ago. I always count them when I shut them up at night. I poked all around the box hedge both sides and all round the garden. It took me ages then yesterday I was doing the same thing and oh said to me "she is under the berberis" which is just by the chicks run!!! I left her there until I shut the others up and then popped her in with Cockle and Tiny Miny for the night. Took away her 11 eggs and this morning she is about with the others like nothing had happened.

Afternoon All,

I feel much better today. Yesterday I was coughing a lot and think it cleared my lungs a bit. So no docs for me now. He will never give me antibiotics anyway. Says it is better for the body to heal itself it it will.

Received photos from cousin in OZ this morning and some of them are ones I sent to someone else but there are also some I have never seen. Guess what???? I now have a picture of my gt gt gran one I never thought I would get!! I am sooooo happy to have received this. I have spent all morning trying to get the photos I have into somewhere I can send them on to him. I have had to put them in the new build pics to be able to send them. Have sent him some but still lots to send.

Poor Frank, Ros must have turned her phone back on as it should'n beep if it is turned off!! Hope Ros is not in such pain today Frank, please give her my love.

Jane pleased you heard from Janice at last to put your mind at rest.

Oh well back to sorting photos then going up churchyard to put a small mini rose on mums grave.

Frank if Ros's diamond ring is worth that much it must be worth that £100 excess !.It must be a cracker.Glad you had a good weekend up at Rutland.My phone is always beeping in my handbag lol.I don't use it that often but always have it on now after getting moaned at because it was always off.I forget to check the battery so it always goes to the red light and the Beeps!

I have just fablon'd the shelves in the sliding cupboard on the landing.Well I have done 2.I didn't buy enough fablon.I think one more roll should do it.Good job no-one will see it as there are a fair few wrinkles lol.But it was very awkward leaning in around the sliding doors and ,it being quite dark in there too.
It is a very warm afternoon!! Skimpy top for me (well not really skimpy) just sleeveless ;-)

Afternoon playmates,

We had a nice dinner and evening with the family. Harvey anf family went about 8.30. Jan had a terrible headache and went to bed. I went up about 10.15 to finish of my book.

Saturday night, I kept hearing a bleep bleep all throught the night.Could not make out where it was coming from, but had to keep listening to hear it again. This went on till I droped of. Then about 6am I heard it again and again and again.!!!! When I got up about 8 I said to Jan about the noise, and she couldn't make out what it could be. When Madam finally came down about 9.30. I told her about it, and she said that must be my phone, It needs charging. Conrad took it and turned it off and left it on the kitchen worktop. Bugger me if she didn't put it back in her handbag, and take it to bed when she came last night. I woke about 4.am to bleep bleep. I didn't know where her handbag was , or the whole lot would have been out of the WINDOW. I was not the happiest BUNNY in the warren !!!!!

We drove home about 11.30 this morning in beautiful sunshine. I was straight into my shorts, and the sun is still shining

Ros has knocked her diamond Engagement Ring. Hand made cluster in White gold, and lost a couple of diamonds. Don't know how or where. Looks like I will have to contact the insurers. The only trouble is there is £100.00 excess. but the ring is valued in excess of £6,000.00 So it should be worth a claim,Will worry about the premium next year when it comes, for renewal.
