Afternoon all,
Had a nice Indian last night, Well they did. The silly buggers forgot to pack mine, so Conrad had to cart into Oakham and pick it up. For his trouble they didn't charge for it and gave him a bottle of wine. Nobody else drinks, so I enjoyed a glass or two !!!! hic hic.
I sitting in the conservatory with the pooter on my lap, difficult to see the screen and to type, as I only have one finger.that I type with.
Sat outside this morning when the sun was shineing, now it's gone in and looks like rain.
Conrad a Jan bought me new slippers for Fathers day, and even had a card from ROS. she must still LOVE me then, even though I shout and play up all the time.
Harvey, Julia, Lewis are due about 3epm for dinner. It's about 75 miles from theirs to here.
I went out for a walk around the village this morning, and called and got a Sunday Paper.
Trust you all have a peaceful day, and enjoy your dinners. Will try to get back later.
David I hope your move went off O.K.

Doctors for you then Mel .Miserable things Chest Infections.I'm sure the Chickens can wait a bit longer to be cleaned out. They will understand if Mummy Mel is feeling a bit poorly.
Lots of cloud now ,not sure what this afternoon will be like.Chris has just trimmed the front Yew Hedge and is now sneezing and snuffling. He will be in for a Zirtec in a bit lol,but he is now mowing the lawn . I have been to Tes** and got a few bits for Hannah's trip to Glastonbury.Wine,Cider ,toilet rolls lol. There is no glass allowed at the festival (very sensible idea).I dread to think what the loos will be like there !!!!!Not sure how the girls will cope with that.
I wonder how Mandy's DIL's father is today.Hopefully getting all his scans etc done. Also I hope Anne is enjoying her few days in Jersey.I think she said it is until Tuesday.
Still nothing from my Sister. It is so unusual not to be able to get in touch with her wherever she is :-S

Hello all just popping in quickly, so tired tonight.
Did a bit of gardening in the driveway bed and found the garden tap - been missing for years. I pulled out lots of plants and plenty of weeds, was covered from head to toe in mud from all this rain. We have had beautiful weather since Thursday. We need some colour out there, some flowering shrubs or something pretty. The tree fern is looking poorly and it always has plenty of water!!!
I will catch up with all your posts. Mandy I do hope (Noel, is it?) feels better soon and they get some results with all the tests being done at the hospital.
I have been told my old school mates (the Brigidine girls) are coming to see me next Saturday (25th). That should be so much fun, lots of memories and many stories. OH might be up for a bit of cooking or at least a BBQ. Hope the weather holds up.
Jacob is now running Miranda around in his 1991 little red Fiesta. It is so cute, but I don't know how he fits in it with those long legs. He must be at least 6 foot 3. Saves Keith on petrol and all those kilometres. Locked the keys in the ignition last night. Keith managed to break in for him, so easy to access. I gave him my old Club steering lock for extra protection. He is such a nice young man!!!!
Have a happy Sunday everyone. Off to the tv and it is now 10.37 pm EST

SUNDAY.
Morning Jane and All,
Sun is out here and OH off ringing. I have done all the chickens and put washing on th eline and washed up from last night as there was no hot water yesterday. I had forgotten to turn the water on!! Saying that I should do it again now. I don't leave it on for long. Can't work the timer switch as it is in a really awful place in the kitchen cupboard.
Should be cleaning the chickens out but have a pain across y upper back, also a cold and think I may have a chest infection.
Hope Frank has a nice time in Rutland this weekend and safe jopurney home again.
We had chilli con carni last night. I was thinking of going out for dinner today but as we went to the garden center yesterday it seems a bit silly to go again today. It is in Cornwall so a few miles from home.

Morning Everyone. Are we all having a lazy morning? The sun is shining here and it doesn't look bad out there. Chris is out with Chester,Hannah sprawled on the settee feeling tired after having 12 hours sleep lol,and me still in the old nightie. Lunch today is Deboned Chicken with Sunblushed Tomato and Parmesan marinade.(Curtesy of Waitr***).It is really tasty and we haven't had it for ages.I found it it my Freezer and had forgotten It was there.Little crispy roast potatoes, carrots and peas from the garden, cauli and broccoli.Oh It is making me feel hungry.lol
I have been trying to ring my Sister since Friday and I have not been able to get in touch at all.I've tried hers and her OH mobiles and no answer.I'm getting a bit worried now :-S :-S The only thing I'm wondering is if something has happened to my BIL' Father and they have had to go up to Yorkshire. But I still don't understand why one of them at least has not answered their mobile.Fingers crossed I hear from her soon.

There seems to quite a bit of blue sky at the moment and it is not a bad evening. We have just finished eating and I am now stuffed.I don't think any of us will be late to bed tonight. But I bet it is me who is left up to let you know who out. :-( I have just a few chapters left to read tonight.I think I have worked out who is the murderer and can't wait to get to the end.ooooh it is gruesome lol I think I will say Night Night now.Sleep well everyone.I hope Ann has a better night tonight with no alarms and little dogs keeping her awake.

Evening all.
Jane, As if I would comment about your mouth size. !!!!
Rained like hell, on our way up here, the wipers could only just cope. Clear blue skys here now.
Haven't looked at the photo's yet. If you sent them to me !!!!
I bet James woke this morning and went to the pub to make sure he was toped up from yesterday.
The girls went off to Peterborough ot Leicester, while I was at the pub having a drink. Conrad dosen't drink so I went on my own. I suppose it will be an Indian Takeaway tonight.
I bought up a bag of potato's from of my bags. Not masses of them, but enough for dinner for seven tomorrow. Hope they taste allright.
Have bought on of these BED CHAIRS from Ebay. Harvey will collect it for me from Hitchen,Herts.during the week. I now need to sell a double futon. that sits in the conservatory. Will have to take photo's next week and put it on Ebay. I think it will be more comfortable to sit on to read my book, and take up less space.
Ros is going through a lot of pain with her back at the moment. She went out and bought a new TENS machine yesterday, to see if it helps. She has to go to hospital again on Wednesday for the MRSA test., before going for another injection on 1st July.
Catch up with you all later.

Hi All Another graduation in the family Jane may be in another 24 years lol Mind the rate Sofia is going she's picking up everything quick , she only has to look once and she remembers what to do,
Daughter no 1 phoned, Sofia still not really taken to her other gran in Italy though she is having fun playing with the other relatives children and loves the beach and animals in the back yard of SIL parents house, it's a huge houseand they have a lot of land and they have their own hens, and a goat , the grandfather lives with them,(He has parkinson's) but still his own house is near by and thats where they keep rabbits (bred to eat) and their hunting dogs(SIL brother & dad hunt wild boar),
Ann last time I was measured at the doctors i was still 4ft 11"(sorry Jane must get it right) all my family are tall, bigger than me anyway lol :-D I think daughter no 2 is about 5ft 5" her dad is 5ft 8" , mind you she was wearing heels, and I was too but not as high as daughters, I was very glad to take them off at the end of they day, wow my feet ached.
Hi Mel yes daughter no 2 takes after the Fairhurst side, and has big brown eyes like her dad, and also has to watch her wieght, the tend to be bigger , that's why OH cycles a lot, my Robinson side were all tiny and light, daughter no 1 is about her dad 's hight but was very slight before she had Sofia and takes her looks from me,
I love that jacket Mel unfortunatly I was a size 10 when I bought it, so it looks slightly big on me now that I am down to an 8, but will fit me better when the wieght goes back on, I just love that blue colour.

Gosh Fiona, Katherine is like your hubby and her gran. Lovely pics to remind you of her special day. You look lovely in that blue.
Been to the garden center to get fish food. OH bought me another little water plant I had'nt seen before. It has little star shaped bracks that are white. It's a marginal plant and is now in one of my reflecting pools. I also bought two bags of Daphnia one for each pool and some water lily fertiliser.
Just sitting here eating buttered crumpets with a cup of tea.

Lots I should be doing too Ann lol .I did do a couple of those shelves in the landing cupboards. They are huge.I had a set of 2 steps to stand on and still couldn't reach the back of the top shelf.Got a couple of big splinters too while I was stretching in.I won't tell you the last time I cleared anything from there.I'm ashamed! I am roasting a couple of Beetroot from the garden at the moment.Just to see how they turn out.I did wear disposable gloves to do them lol
Don't forget Ann ,Fiona is only 4ft 10"!! I look tiny against James. In fact I look tiny against most people lol
I haven't heard from James today.I wonder why??I expect he will ring tomorrow for Fathers Day.As usual his card was only posted yesterday lol
Chris is sat in the Summerhouse with air rifle poised. If you could all just see him !!!!

Thanks for the pics Fiona, you would never guess it had been raining in them. Katherine's happy face and smile have a 'glad it's all done, but I'm thrilled' look!! She is quite tall isn't she. I think your outfit looks lovely, really suits you.
There's lots I should be doing, but aren't!! I had a bad night last night. Next door's little dog started yapping at 11.30pm (neighbour out) and went on for about an hour. When he stopped, it was replaced by a burglar alarm noise, which is what he was probably barking at. After I got up twice to make sure it wasn't our alarm or next door's, as I couldn't sleep I sat and started to watch a horror film, The Cradle, that I'd recorded !! Not a good idea. :-0 :-0 It ended up too scary for me so I crept back to bed after about an hour..........OH slept through it all!!

I'm back.Katherine has a fabulous smile doesn't she. That Blue really suits you Fiona.Next Graduation may be Sofia lol :-D :-D
Ann ,I don't know how my jaw has gone a bit 'off'.I wondered if it was because I only ate on the other side when I had that temporary crown fitted,as it was too high, then I went back and the dentist shaved it down.I am trying to remember to eat on the wonky side to see if that will help get it back to normal.I just don't know.
Frank said he was taking his Laptop with him to Rutland.
James girlfriend Jessica still has another exam to do.But she still has 2 years to go.She changed course after a year so is just completing her first year.It will be interesting to see how their relationship goes now that James will be here. They have lived together for the last 2 years.Jess is having to move into another shared house ,as she is the only one remaining from the house now and James and the other 2 will be leaving uni.I hope they leave the house in good order as he needs his full deposit of £400 back!!(that will help him through the summer) without handouts from moi lol
