Thanks for the pic of Katie.........I bet there were lots of tears when she she got that nasty bump on the head. I love her little trike......it has TIMMY on the front from SHAUN THE SHEEP that I love to watch!!! I'm just a big kid!!!! lol

Jane, the dress is lovely, style and colours......a perfect choice for the wedding I think.

Well, I've done it again. Last time it was the teabags I lost...... and then found them in the fridge. This time it was a big bunch of the house keys!! lol Eventually we found them...........in the cutlery drawer!! lol SOMETHING ELSE he won't let me forget!!! lol

Where is everyone this afternoon??'tis awful quiet here.
I thought we were going to get a good bit of the wet stuff earlier,but it was just a spitty bit and then disappeared lol.So it still means we have to water the all the veg !Mind you saying that Chris has just said it is supposed to rain tonight.Fingers crossed we get it.

I have a nasty feeling something may be going on with that tooth of mine.My jaw is aching(and not through talking before you make a comment FRANK) lol :-P

Mel I know the chairs you mean now.The metal bars always seemed to dig in somewhere.Uncomfortable things they were.Either in brown or grey.

I am doing my Frittata again today.Hannah wasn't here last week when I did it so she can give her verdict today.Then for pud it is Strawberries,Raspberries and Blueberries.Only trouble I have had to sling out most of the Raspberries as they were just starting to fur up.Not good considering they were in date until today.

Glad you like the outfit Mandy.Top top is described as a bolero!,Same kind of thing though as a shrug I think.I still need to sort shoes out and maybe a handbag ,although I do have a clutch one which is very pretty that would go.It is the same one I had for the Dubai wedding.I will not be wearing any head gear though lolol.I don't do hats!Chris has his new suit,but we need to get James sorted with one.Hannah will now doubt wear something stunning !.How I wish I had her figure.

It is a dull day now and still windy.That kind of day I call 'A funny old day'

Looks a sore one that cut, poor little mite,
Sofia is always bumping into walls, tables and the garden bench , she will not stop running but she looks backwards not forwards when running so she just bangs straight into anything which is in her path, she has often got bruises on her forehead ,

We decided to give daughter no 2 a gift for her graduation, it took a bit of thinking what would be best,
SIL got a brief case for his Graduation from his parents , came in handy as he graduated with honours in Financial Banking.
So we wondered what could you give a fashion graduate, not clothes lol she got lots of them and she has her own style , but she loves reading and has always got her nose in a book or magazine , so we asked her if she would like a Kindle and she said "YES PLEASE" so OH ordered a PINK Kindle off the internet, so we have one very happy daughter, her results came at the right time
Both daughter and boyfriend are fine now as they have recovered after their accident , we still have heard nothing about the hired car.

Mandy, a very happy anniversary for yesterday. Your roses sound beautiful and I can help you with those chocolates!! I have a stash hidden in my secret cupboard for tonight's viewing - The Kennedys. I'm really enjoying this mini-series.

Maureen thanks for the photos. Your decking is fabulous - I can imagine you having many happy hours out there. Can you tell me what is the name of the mauve flowering plant near your glass doors? It is so pretty!!! Baby Harry, just like little Ethan, is another beautiful little boy. Am I supposed to be clucky at my age????

Keith has been in and out to Rod, our neighbour, all day. Joel spent an hour with him and watched some Aussie Rules Football that was on this afternoon. He is a little worse today. Has to see his local doctor tomorrow, so Keith is going to help with that and then down to the Royal North Shore on Tuesday for another biopsy. He is in lots of pain and the medication is not even touching the sides.

Anne come over any time, lol. These different coloured carrots are so tasty. Keith is a good cook and likes to experiment with different foods. If anyone has a favourite recipe that they want to share, send it over!!!!

It has been a sunny day here (thank goodness) as the cat was sick on the couch and I had to wash the covers. Just a furball, but I will keep an eye on her. Glad she wasn't on the bed!!!

Off to watch some tv. It is 9.32 pm EST BBL to say goodnight.

First chance i've had to get on here today ,son and family have been here all morning ,they brought flowers and would you believe more chocolates LOL

Jane the dress looks very pretty ,just right for a wedding , just the sort i would choose , don't they call those tops Shrugs now ?

We use to have some of those garden/picnic chairs ,they had canvas seats ,they would get left out in all weathers and the seats would rot , when they were used the next year some one would fall through the seat LOL

Frank, you are naughty !! if i were Ros i'd tie you to your chair !!lol

Happy Anniversary to Mandy and her hubby, Hope you are having a wonderful day. It is very cool and windy here today with some moisture in the wind. Looks as though summer has gone for now. Talking to son earlier and the sun was shining in Berko lucky things.
Had a wonderful evening out with a good meal in a very busy restaurant. lots of people having an early meal but the staff were very efficient.I had butternut squash risotto for my main and it was gorgeous but my pannacotta wasn't quite right.The concert by the Northern Synphonia orchestra was sublime and all in all a successful outing. Thanks for all the compliments re photos. Now that I know what to do I promise to send more.

Son was telling me that Lucy has now outgrown her moses basket and needs to go into a cot. She is the same size at 8 weeks as Hazel was at 20. We have a giant on our hands!!
Time for lunch I think. Simple pasta as tapas with friends this evening :-) :-)

Been up and watered the tunnel and now it's raining! The garden does need it.

Jane not those picnic chairs. These ones were used in village halls and schools and things like that. I am talking years ago, full sized chairs that you had to stack not folding ones.

Those chairs.I think we used to call them our Picnic Chairs.I seem to remember they had a shiny kind of coating on the material.

Morning all,

I never got back yesterday, as I went out in the garden and did the lawns. That left me knackered. so I rested the rest of the day.

Congratulations to those of you who have Birthdays Anniversariy's and anything else I have missed.

Still in my dressing gown, going for a shower now, and get into smart shorts and shirts for the day,

Had a terrible night last night. layed awake till 4 am. My body was aching and shaking. Ros, wasn't happy with me doing jobs yesterday, and said this is what you get, when you don't do as you are told.

Have just put a top on and put my glasses down and could'nt find them!!!! It has taken me ages as I had put them on the newspaper and you could'nt see them.. :-\

Forgot to say I was watching something on the telly the other day and they had those metal framed chairs with the canvas back and seats. I had forgotten about those. Do you remember them??

Anyway I had said about the pics from Anne. I have always wanted one of those viburnum Maresii in one of the pics. Our friends had one and it was really beautiful in the spring with all the flowers in sort of layers. I did have one once but oh mowed over it!! as it was only small!!

Very warm here yesterday but the sun went in later after the wedding. Friends came round to see how oh had got on with the new build and brought two cans of beer and an alcaholic ginger beer for oh to try. He liked it!!

Had spag bol for dinner last night.

Going to church at 10.30, almost ready, 3 more weeks to go and our Minister of 30 years retires, we are having a presentation celebration on the 26th June and everybody who has known our Minister or has been to our church are welcome to come. we will be having a light lunch after the service.
There is no other minister at the moment to take over so there will be someone else to do the pastrol (sp)l duties during the summer, then our old minister will do Sunday morning services from August only, but some other person will have to do the Christenings, Weddings and funerals and any other church appointments.
So we won't miss our minister to much lol :-D

It is fantastic Maureen! Baby Harry looks content and well away without a care in the world!! lol

How nice that they found out what the rose was Mandy. The roses must smell lovely in your garden just now.

I'm off to bed now.......cooler tonight so I hope I sleep well......night night xxxx

Maureen , your decking looks really good , its made a lovely area to sit and chill out , do i see a puss on the chair ? the planters made out of the decking look nice on the steps , good idea to use up the left over bits like that .

Little Harry is a dear little boy , all the dark hair he has !! and fast asleep bless him .
