Morning All,
Well girls give us all the low down about yesterday please. I am expecting lots of pics.
I keep meaning to tell Anne that we have had one of those red and black moths around us last week during the day and at night at the bathroom window. Can't remember what it is called now but it is really beautiful. I could'nt beleive it was at the window 5 nights running with two lovely big fat white ones.
OH has gone off to get something for his pond. He is having a rest from the new build at the moment. Has just realised he can't do quite as much as he used to be able to do and he is 4 years younger than me!!
Pants!!!!! I now have another midge bite on the back of my neck. It has just started itching so think I may take an antihystamin (sp).

Evening All What a great day we have had.A long one but worth every minute. I am hoping Ann will tell you all about it as she has a great way with words and doesn't waffle like me lol We have taken a fair few pics between us!!. As we left, a group of Wedding planners were being shown around. They are there to organise a wedding on saturday. The wedding party, rooms etc are costing £100 ,000,and I think there are 149 guests !! I hope Ann has got home safely.I bet she will be exhausted now.I know I am and I didn't have to drive.
Kim I am so sorry that Rod has passed away today.A terrible shock for you all and a very sad day.
I really must go to bed now.You will all hear more of our wonderful day at Luton Hoo tomorrow. Night Night zzzzzzzz

My thumb is ok it is just the nail and now it is cut off it dos'nt hurt. The lid of th echest freezer only caught the nail which was about over a half an inch long!! They are so hard I can't cut them but have forgotten to file them lately.
OH is at me to turn the pooter off so he can put the replay box on so I will say goodnight to all and see you in the morning.

It's lovely to see the photos of the babies, now little toddlers, growing up, Katie such a little blondie and Sofia with those beautiful big dark eyes.
So sorry to hear about your friend Kim, life is hard sometimes.
That'll be interesting Pat if you get the photo on here, they do say we all have a double.
I was reading about the problems a lot of you are having with GR and was thinking, that's lucky I seem to get on okay, then I tried typing a post and nothing, thought, oh dear, spoke too soon. Then I tried to see if a cable had come out and put my hand down the back of the hard drive, nearly jumped out of my skin when I felt something furry, when I took a look I found Alfie sitting there, he'd knocked the cable out, little so and so, the places he finds to sleep.

Interesting about your hubbies fish tank Fiona.
Many years ago I knew a man,a plumber-central heating engineer self employed, that was fascinated by them.
I his home,in an alcove in his living room,he had a tank that went from floor to ceiling filled with every imaginable fisf.
The weight of water and glass must have been enormous.

Evening All Just been helping OH sort out his new fish tank, and move the old cupboard back into the hall and the new cupboard for the fish tank into it's place. Will look lovely when the fish are all in the new tank.
Mandy glad you got the pics, I look tired in the one with Sofia, unfortunately Sofia is never around when I'm at my best, all tidy and looking good, so when we have photo's taken together , I have been dashing around after her and I'm usually just having a rest.

I have been shopping and then watered the tunnel. Cooked Chilli Con Carni for dinner which was very nice.
Where are Jane and Ann as I am waiting to find out how their day went.
When I came back from shopping and ws putting some food in the freezer, as I dropped the lid down my hand slipped and I bent the long nail on my right thumb right back!! The air was blue for a moment and then I had to get oh to clip it off for me. I can't cut the right hand as no strength in my thumb. Even OH had a job. The nailo has bent straight across the pink part about an 8th of an inch down.
I am very good with my midge bites and only rub them when they itch with my fingers. I don't scratch them otherwise I could'nt stop, as you say Frank.
Sheila hope the little dogs respond to the treatment. It's horrid when they are ill because they can't really tell you whats wrong.

Hi All..
It is nice you are telling Maddie a bit about yourselves..Now I am making a list of you all and your bearings...
Maddie I have only been on here for a week.I am from Bedfordshire.
Today I have had 3 dehumidifiers and an a industrial blower . taken out of my kitchen and bathroom...I was away at xmas so was my neighbour. We came back before him and to cut a long story short he had a burst pipe in his loft.this resulted in us getting water damage as well The kitchen was gutted in Feb ..Walls floor celing.and we have been all these months trying to get it dry..Three times the equipment was put in.signed off dry on 2 occasions to find that when the buildierscame into start the walls they were still wet..Hopefully this time they will not find fault. So nearly six months with out any kitchen units is too much.. Just watching corree at the moment
:-)

Hi All What a lot has happened on here since yesterday,.I hopeAnn,Jane and Fritz have had a good day and I look forward to all their news. Welcome Maddie. I.m Anne, live in North Yorkshire, am 62 and have a super hubby, one son and two gorgeous grandchildren who live in hertfordshire. My hobbies include family history, cooking and photography. I am an active volunteer in the town and am not as good at posting as most of the others! Hope you enjoy being with us as everyone is very friendly and supportive. My day today has involved much housework, cooking, visitingMIL and watching the tennis. The weather has been mucher warmer with no rain today and we even managed coffee in the garden. Hubbies new computer eventually stopped altogether yesterday and is being returned to the manufacturer. Have just had a message from genes to say that they are upgrading the site but I will have to pay even more for full access which I think is very naughty after all the problems of the last few weeks. Going book tickets for John Barrowman in York in November yipeee Jane We are going to Jersey next Thursday for five days with some friends which should be fun. Frank So pleased to hear that your heart is ok.Do take care of yourself. I am amazed by the amount ofcraft work Ros does for your community, she is a real gem. :-) :-) :-)

Hi Kim,
Sorry about your news, but if you had happy times with Rod, that is something to savour. Life can be such a Bast###. How old was Rod. We have all been there, and it's not nice so see our friends in pain and suffering.
I have had a lazy day. Sitting around reading. I made a lasagne for dinner tonight. Ros is making a salad to go with it as I sit here now.
Have run out of beer, so will have do do without tonight.
The washing machine man called this afternoon. He condemed the washer saying as it was 10 years old and the circuit boards cost either £100/200 depending on the problem. and there must have been something wrong for it to trip the electricity apart from the circuit boards. (MORE EXPENCE) We have just bought one on line from Tesc# with £100.00 off plus Ros will get her points. Harvey will have to take the old one away on Sunday when he collects Lewis.
