Just looked out for the moon, the clouds are to thick to see it. Will have to wait 30 years !!!

Still no computer, he forgot to bring some thing with him. but he has fixed the Patio door, he bough some lock picking tools of Ebay. and it worked.!!!

Had a barny with DIL this afternoon, so I'm not best pleased, won't go into details as some of you might get the wrong idea about me. !!! Jane knows. .

Oh Frank , we can see it over here in Raunds , sky is clear , hope the clouds blow over soon , so you can see it.
Mel , i've always wanted to try & make Jam, just never had the time, lol. have to try soon though , I keep meaning to bake , as i haven't for a while ,

Emily fell asleep late this afternoon , & woke in a bad mood , wouldn't eat her dinner. i can just see a late night ahead . 8.43 pm

Just looked at it Mel, it looks very bright tonight.....more frost tomorrow!!

I'm off to bed now as the headaches' gone but made me feel quite tired. OH keeps rubbing his back. Just as he was setting off today, he got an 11th hour phone call to do the footie radio report after the match......had to turn back up the road to get his notepad.......still at least they won today!

Mags, that sounds just like my daughter and Sofia, every day is a different sleeping pattern , daughter is often shattered with lack of sleep, sometimes there's no time for a shower at her home so she comes down to me so I can look after Sofia then daughter goes for a shower,

Mags I make a small amount of jam in the micro. Mine went over today as I was doing something else when I put it on. made an awful mess in the micro and all over the bloomin bowl too and onto the micto plate. I put it on a dinner plate then on the micto plate.


5 pint mixing bowl, glass if poss.
1 lb Strawberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice.
12 oz sugar.

I cut the berries up add the lemon juice and cook for about 4 or 5 mmins on high.
Stir in the sugar so it disolves and cook for three mins, open oven and stir and wipe away the condensation if you get it. Then 3 mins and repeat. cooking it about 12 to 14 mins altogether. test and if it sets ok pop it into a hot cleaned jar after it has cooled a little. Pour boiling water over the lid and wipe dry with kitchen paper and pop it on. It cann make a little more than a 1lb jam and if it does I just put it in a small jar.

Everyones seems to have gone to bed so will says night night too.

Afternoon all
No I haven't just got up lol Have been to Tes**.Mind you I did have a long lie until about 10.Chris even brought me Tea and Toast.Very nice it was too.
I was shattered last night.It was a long day,but a great one.Met new people and saw a couple I met last year.I think there were 13 or 14 of us.Lots of laughs and lots of drinkies lol.We all took along something for a raffle and the proceeds are going to Barts Breast Care.The Victoria line was not running so we had to get a bus from Euston to Victoria.It was quite nice as it went Park Lane ,Oxford St,Marble Arch and I don't know where else.
I think I had the best night sleep in ages last night.I must have zonked out as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Frank,when will your computer be up and running?Soon I hope.

When I was at Tes** just now ,I heard a little girl say to her Mummy."Mummy hurry up,my legs are getting bored" lolol.She was about 3 years old.Bless !!

Now I must think about peeling some potatoes and doing some veg.Heaven knows what time we will be eating today

I was remembering the other day how I used to get the cut off bits of pastry when Mum was doing a pie and I had the job of making the leaves and putting the markings of the veins and then decorating the top of the pie.I was also allowed to do the crimping around the edge.

Afternoon everyone ,

Not so sunny today ,more overcast , been to the coast ,that blew a few cobwebs away ,quite chilly ,but nice to get a bit of sea air, no Crabs about yet Frank !!!
Also called at the tip and dropped off a bit of garden rubbish.

We were going to call at a garden centre on the way back ,but when we saw the queues of traffic we decided not too , i wanted to get a shrub of some sort to replace the one hubby dug up , not sure what to put in , it was a Hebe that he dug up ,that part of the garden only gets the late afternoon and evening sun.

Sounds as if you had a good day yesterday Jane , all that talking tired you out !!!lol
That's the sort of thing i could hear Chelsea saying ,my legs are bored !!! we went to get a sack of potatoes this morning and Jake and Chelsea came with us ,while their mum, dad and Katie went to Tes*o's ,on the way back Chelsea said lets sing Christmas songs !!!
They were both chattering away in the back of the car ,in the end Jake got fed up and said to Chelsea ,will you shut up i'am trying to talk !!!

Emily wasn't to bad , although i still woke at 6 am ,
Tonights moon is supposed to be good as well . so i will be watching , Drove down to mums today , it was nice to see her , we don't go very often , & should make more of an effort .

Well, my London Walk was a complete wash out on Friday, still on the plus side we stayed in the pub had a few drinks and a nice lunch. Was over at son's house all day yesterday, filling and sanding down skirting boards ready to varnish and have been in the garden most of today, really quite warm out and still nice and light will be even better next week when the clocks have gone forward.

I too have been out in the garden. I ws going to clean the chickens out but got stuck into all the leaves outside the bungalow. They have now all gone, well nearly. Aslo had a go at the litttle rockery bit outside the kitchen window where the ivy grows out under the box hedge. some of it was right across the 3 foot of garden and climbing down the wall. Also had some off the porch. Had a bonfire and am now wore out. Just done crumpets and tea for me and OH had a black coffee as he dos'nt drink tea.

What a shame about Friday, Maureen. Still a nice lunch and natter is good. You seem to be busy again this year with the decorating. I thought it was just me that always had sandpaper in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. lol We are out in the garden again tomorrow, cutting back the soil for a curved step of flat rocks down to the arbour. It will be backache stuff, lifting the rocks up and down, skimming bits of soil to get them level, so we'll do a bit each day, then something a bit easier.

Your microwave jam recipe sounds good Mel, doesn't make too much at once.....I'll keep a copy of it.

I'm looking forward to watching Prof Brian Cox again tonight on the programme about the Universe. The last 2 weeks have been fascinating.

David, you can just bet that if you found somewhere else first, you wouldn't be able to get a buyer for yours quick enough!! Good luck with your latest offer!!

Hi All
OH has been on my new computer most of the day, installing all my bits and pieces, Camera., other folders from the old computer trying to find ways in which i can open DOC FILES as they are old ones that my new computer doesn't recognise, also lots of BDM spreadsheets that wouldn't open but we are getting there.

Glad you had a great time in London yesterday Jane , I guess you would be tired when you got back.

David I hope all goes well with the whole house thing it's a horrendous job moving.

I have had a nagging ache in my bottom teeth for a few days.It is in one of my crowned ones but I can't quite work out which.If it is still there tomorrow I think it will be a phone call to the Dentist.

David 4 weeks seems awfully quick to get all the legal stuff done for buying a house.Is that possible?I do hope so for you and Ellen.

Hannah sprained her ankle in Dublin.You should see the state of it.It's a cracker colour wise lol.She can walk on it so I doubt if there is a break.
I'll see if she will let me take a pic of it !
