Hi All
just had a nice relaxing bath and feeling sleepy , weather has been fantastic all day and it was lovely to just wear a zip up cardi and not a big winters coat when i was down the town.

It seems like the pleasant weather won't be lasting it was 15 today and tomorrow it's to be 8 and cloudy.

I spent a nice day with Sofia , she keeps you busy , we painted hand prints, but she does not like getting her hands covered in paint or even ink from a biro she picked up in the kitchen. lol

Jane sounds like your having a bit of a rough time with your teeth, hope you feel better after taking the medicine.

I'm going to watch the TV now so I will say goodnight.

Hi all,

Just tried my new pooter. Can read the postings, but no "Add your reply" so have plugged in the old one, so I could post.

Pooooor old you Jane, I wouldn't think you would want anything other than dinner tonight !!!!

What a blow out that dinner was, the suet pudding was as light as a feather, and came out of the dish without breaking apart. Ros didn't like the potato so won't be doing that again. The sprouters were lovely.
Ros has just asked if I would like a piece of fresh cream chocolate sponge.I said NO WAY !!! after that meal.

Conrad says they have both been laid up all week, in bed with colds and flu. Ros offered to go up, if they needed anything, but they say they have got everything they need.

I suppose you early birds will be tucked up in bed by now. Sleep tight see you tomorrow.

Morning All
Frank I have never made a suet pudding.Yours sounded lovely.I have done suet cake(I think that's what its called) in a tin.We always had that with roast Lamb when I was young.Mum did a great one.I just fancy that now.

It looks like it will be a bit more cloudy today but still nice.
I need to get Fitz's wife some flowers for her birthday.Tes** have some fantastic ones in at the moment, but the scent is so strong from all the Lillies it makes my nose and head go funny.I will need a peg lol

Time for a coffee I think ...........9.52

Morning Jane and all,

Sunny and warm here yet again and today is the 25th March just one month to go and we will be three years old!! (The thread I mean).

Left the sheets out on the line last night and they are all dry and ready for ironing today. I have to go round with the cobweb brush today as I have spotted some in corners.

Jane hope the tooth is a bit easier today.

morning All

Weather was cloudy earlier on but the sun is trying to get out.

OH has come back from France with a cold and chesty cough, he says he has had it all week but probably being in the plane hasn't help there's all ways a lot of Air-conditioning.
He is working from home this morning feels achy , but looks better after sleeping in his own bed last night, I slept in the other bedroom because he was coughing a lot.

Jane I always say to OH when it gets to anniversary time,( he all ways sends me flowers) please don't ask for Lillies to be put in with the flowers like you the heavy scent gives me a headache , also they remind me of funeral flowers somehow,

Frank, I left my old computer on for the first few days after getting my new one, especially because I could not get access to some of the spreadsheets that contain my own BDM cert information
OH had to spend £90 to get a package Micros*ft office so I can changed them over and I can view them now.

Hi all,

On my new one and I can post. Had my old one omn last night and an urgent VIRUS message came up. It's as dead as a DODO this morning. Cant open google or anytrhing.. Will have to get Conrad to clear the whole thing.

Wonderful day again, got my shorts on, must get out in the sun.

Car wouldn't start this morning. RAC says the battery is border line, will give it a good charge and see what happens. It is 7 years old, so hasn't done bad. Trouble is a new battery is almost £100.00 (MORE EXPENCE)

Ros wants to knit some easter chick egg covers, I found one on the web printed it off and got 15 pages of complete rubbish and no knitting instructions. What a waste of INK.

Found out why I associate Lillies with funerals, Knew I had read it somewhere
I Goggled and it said
lilies symbolize that the soul of the departed has received restored innocence after death.

Another beautiful day, have been sitting in the garden, well I started clearing out the shed and sat down with a cup of tea and didn't get back up again. Must put everything away though. Make the most of today,it's back to normal tomorrow.

I like the smell of lilies, but my favourite flower perfume is carnation or a real old fashioned rose.

Haven't done much today. Been on new pooter trying to find bits.

Not cooking as such tonight, frozen chicken kiev, chips and beans.

Jane, my mum would often make a Bloo#y great suet pudding either plain which we had with gravy, before our meat and veg.( when in short supply) It helped fill us up. or she would put dried fruit in it and we had that for afters with custard I think known as plum duff.. When it was cold (the pudding) we would come home from school, fry it and put syrup on it. I should be as fat as a pig !!!! with all that stog. Instead I am sylphlike and young looking !!!! NO COMMENTS FROM YOU LOT. Thats how I would like to feel.

Ros is still doing the boarders in the back garden, she has found four more bushes that the winter had.

I started cleaning the (NEW) bike for Lewis. polished all the frame and handle bars. Back tyre and innertube were Bugg####. so have bought new ones on Ebay (more expence) When will in all end. But as it's for him. I don't mind. !!!!

Jane

Jane Report 25 Mar 2011 16:09

I hope you enjoy the meal tonight Mandy.I haven't decided what we are having yet.
My tooth wasn't bad until about half an hour ago ,and then it started throbbing. But have taken tablets now so hopefully soon I won't feel it.

We have got the date of my sons Graduation now .It is July 20th in Canterbury Cathedral.Chris got on the internet to look at Hotels and couldn't believe how fast the were filling up!!.We need 3 rooms !! and luckily managed to get one about half a mile from the Cathedral.
Then we booked a Hotel in Cambridge for the 24th July(3 rooms again) for a wedding.(More Expense ) as you would say Frank lol

The sun is shining but I actually think it feels a bit chilly so I am going to get myself a nice cup of tea.

Jane sorry the tooth is playig up again.

Shirl Happy Birthday to no 1 son from me!! Hope he enjoys his apple pie.

Been up the border this afternoon. the weeds are awful but not as bad as last year when I started clearing it.

I thought I had lost a big fushia but I see new growth coming from the bottom so a good haircut right back for that one.

Just haveing a well earned cuppa. The sun has gone in but it is still warm and dry even though there is a lot of cloud in the sky. Oh has done a bit of mowing. He went up the next village to get some petrol and diesel for the mowers and they have stopped selling prtrol so now we have to go to Hatherleligh for it!! thats about 9 miles I think. Bet he gets me to get some on shopping day at Morr*sons. I hate having petrol in cans in the car. Can't stand the smell but I know someone who could, don't I Jane.

Shirl are you trying to say I have a big mouth lolol.
Happy Birthday to No1 son and enjoy your dinner together.Take care on your journey to Toronto .I hope you have a good weekend.

I went and put a jumper on just now and by the time I got downstairs I felt too hot !
Mel I love Fushias (that spelling doesn't look right).I don't know that we actually have any though. If not I will have to get some.I quite fancy a standard one in a pot for the patio.

Fiona, £90 !!
I'd a copy of Office 2003 I could have posted to you.

Too late now,I gave it to a charity shop with some other stuff recently.

I'm going to have a purge on my clutter and wardrobe and shoes.
If I'm going shortly I want the excess in a place where it might do good.

Evening All

Another busy day out in the sunshine. Went into town this morning and wandered around the shops having a browse. Hubby had a meeting so it gave me a chance to look at clothes etc.
Spent the afternoon at MIL's having a good gossip. Have not felt 100% all day so popped into the Docs and got some antibiotics as I seem to have a urinary tract infection which is annoying but hopefully it will soon clear up. Drinking lots of orange and barley water.
Off to watch Robin Hood on tele.
Jane Hope your tooth settles again

Oh Ann UTI makes you feel really Yuk.You and me on Antibiotics.I just hope we don't get Thrush which is often the result for us ladies on antibiotics.( I hope that is not too much information lol). But it does happen.
It is my job to do the dog walk in the morning.Chris has done it for the last 3 days as he has been at home. But he is popping into work first thing to check his mail etc ,so I can't complain.
I think I am turning off now,so will catch up with you all again tomorrow.

Was at Seaton Delaval beach this afternoon.
Horses are exercised on the sands.
There was a double horse box beside the road.
Inside was a brown mare.
A man and woman were trying unsucessfully to lead a white mare in beside it.
The white mare wasn't having it.The man walked it to the box at least a dozen times. Then it hesitated and reared.
I said to the couple, who were getting impatient, why don't you let the white mare go in first?
They got the brown mare out.
The white mare still wouldn't go in.
Neither would the brown mare go back in.
I left them to sort it out among them selves.
