Morning All
We had problems with the internet late afternoon and evening and it is only just back on.Fingers crossed it stays on.

Anne I knew you would enjoy the film..I think it is usual to wait 2 weeks after the due date and then be induced. That will seem like forever if she has to wait that long.Maybe she will have baby on Mothers Day !

I don't think the film you saw Ann would have been my cup of tea.I forgot to say well done to your OH on getting the job.

I hope Ros gets on at the Woodlands Frank.I think you will still be there as I post this.
Must get dressed.Chris has done the walk today,so I have been slobbing lol

I am all ready to wash some floors and haven't got any floor cleaner !! I was hoping not have to go out today. But if I don't get it ,it'll be ages before I get around to it again.

Dare I come back its been a long time since I threaded .Do hope everyone is ok .I went to Wales and what an adventure I had up there.

Jessica was in the process of moving to Rose cottage. Two days after she moved in a gentleman called Mr Reece Jones phoned Jessica and said I am the couson of the previous owners and I have left my bike in your shed and although it is very old I would like to have it for my son .Jessica went out to the shed and saw a bike and went back to the phone and said yes ok come and fetch it. Then in true Jessica style she said come to the house and I will get you the bike. No way I would have done that. The guy arrived on the Saturday evening knocked on the door and said he wanted the bike she let him in and he sat talking to her for
15 minutes and she said he was very nice and friendly and the stupid girl
went off to the toilet leaving him drinking a cup of tea. He took £49 out of her bag and stole a painting worth £400 pound and emptied Aprils piggy bank which had 27 pound in it.

Jessica returned and the front door was open and Mr Reece Jones had disapeared. April was fast asleep in bed anything could have happened.
I went racing off to Wales. Jessica was so remorseful after she cried for days admitting she was stupid. The police were not very sympathetic and uncle Bryn was very cross .But I was angry also since Jessica moved house shes been left alone to cope on her own.

April after a couple of days was talking to uncle Bryn and she said uncle Bryn can we go to that prawnbrokers which made us laugh.Uncle Bryn looked very red and said no April and walked out. It was of course a Pawnbroker I did not know they had them now and uncle Bryn had pawned all his mothers jewellery he lost 2 thousand pound gambling over the last twelve months. Bryn took April with him. He said it was his business what he did with his belongings but what a waste of money.

Poor Rashers who was called Porker at his new home then Bacon was looking a bit strange when we visited the children disabled park where Rashers now resides or Bacon or Porker whatever!! and he was shaved all down his left side due to some dear child throwing a firework at him.
I was furious and although a very nice lady called Mrs Polly apologised
I have had Rashers removed he is now the pet of a lady looking for a little black pig but could not afford one they are very expensive to buy. Matt loved his piggy and I felt I owed it to him. April was upset and she went running off to find a plaster for his side and tried to stick a finger plaster on him.

Ryan Mats American Friend is now residing with Jessica again they have become very romantic of late and Jess needs someone she is as daft as a brush .

I did two more chapers on my witch story the Witches Brew and on the Thursday before I returned had another pain round my heart and was whisked off to hos[ital. I had to stay for a night and was sent home ok.

Well dear people hope you are all well missed your threads , going to have a good read. I did read a very funny poem from Amanda which made me laugh.

Jane any good news on the house front with Hannah.
Margeret did the baby arrive yet.
Annx it should be your concert in Birmingham this year.Lucky you.
Andrew Rieu .My friend in Stratford regrets cancelling her ticket now .

I am researching Dennis Deaking my couson at the moment I had so many cousons this couson had a little house and he collected everything he had 400 Rubert Bear annuals which would be worth a lot now and so many toy lead soldiers and Matchbox cars all boxed up.Old clocks and some very nice war books leather bound. I wonder what he did with it all he moved to Wales and a cottage called Mandalay. I lost his address.
I have had another message about my witch lady someone sent me a cutting out of a paper and it said her cafe the Witches Brew was for sale.
The lady who sent it did not give her name.

Well I have done nothing all day now. I just had a few games on the pooter and now I feel guilty. I did dust the kitchen table and made the yorkshire pud for toad in the hole tonight. Does those things count as something done today do you think??

Nice to hear from you Sheila and glad you are ok. Has April got over her chicken pox?

Hi Everyone
Had a busy day shopping, looking at cars and an unscheduled trip to the docs.
Current antibiotics have not worked so had to get some others. Am now feeling woolly headed but in less pain.
News on the baby front. DIL saw midwife this morning and all well. Now booked in for next Friday if it doesnt come before hand. Son drove her home over all the speed humps and they are having curry again tonight.
Going to a meeting tonight in ther wind. Thankfully it is in walking distance so will be wind assisted at least one way.

Hi Everyone,

Yum, yum, Mandy.......what a good buy......I fancy the big one! lol

Mel is that the rest of THE cake.

Anne, I hope the new tablets soon do the trick and get rid of the pain. I wonder if the baby will arrive soon now a date has been booked.

Sheila, what a despicable man to do that to Jessica. Did he take the bike as well or was that just an excuse? Sorry to hear you had to be whisked off to hospital, but at least they didn't keep you in. Yes, I shall soon be seeing Andre, just a few weeks now......really looking forward to it!

A new metal obelisk arrived this morning. A pretty maroon clematis has been trying to climb the birdfeeder pole since we took it off the trellis to paint it and we didn't want to put it back on the trellis. This should be quite good as it has lots of places it can cling to. Funny, it took years to establish and I nearly hoofed it out last year. This year it has loads of new shoots from ground level!! Its as if it knew!!!

Shirl, glad you had a great trip......the food sounds delish....I've never had lobster! Toronto station sounds very busy. lol I like the sound of that soup......with some crusty bread.

Jane, they told OH he had got the job months ago, but not in writing! At a recent meeting they announced that everyone had now been allocated work . When some (including OH) said they hadn't been allocated any.......their answer was ......they'd 'slipped through the net' !!!!! Pathetic. Is James in superswot mode now ready for his finals? I wish him all the best in his exams.
