we had to make the same the decision in june with our 12 year old molly, heartbreaking but she was suffering.

Thanks for replies Cassie had trapped nerves in her spine and went to sleep peacefully i stayed with her.

she has arthritis she had a op last year on she left back leg foe a ruptured ligament and got over it very well then from sat she has got stiffer and have to help her up but vet want to make sure she kidneys and liver were ok before he gave her anything which could make .her worse than she is Val xxx

Yes our Madoc is!! He does very well on it too. Just going out so will add to this when we gt back. It can be claimed on dog insurance too.

Hi Valerie

I've used it on both my cats and dogs over the years for various complaints and it's always seemed to work quite well with no obvious side effects.

Does the vet have any idea yet of what is wrong with your Cassie? I hope it's nothing serious and that she feels better soon. xxx

Is anyone's dog on metacam the vet has advised us to give it to are 11year old gsb cassie at the monent she is having problems getting up. Have had to wait blood test results for her liver and kidneys which were good and the vet is droping some off this afternoon just wondered if it is as good as vet says.
