For al the sky watchers out there.

On March 19th, a full Moon of rare size and beauty will rise in the east at sunset. It's a super "perigee moon"--the biggest in almost 20 years and should be well worth looking out for..

There is a stunning full moon beaming through my kitchen window as I type:-) I look forward to an even better one tomorrow!

I had better watch the backs of my hands for hairs growing then the rest of me will be all hairy....lol...

I could not resist opening the door to the veranda and going outside to look at the sky. It was amazing....!!! there are so many stars and then I turned and there was the Full moon looking quite resplendent,
The sea is calm and the sea was covered with light form the stars and the moon. I am so glad that I looked at this thread!

Goodness only knows how it can be improved tomorrow night but I shall have a look.

I am hoping that we will have a great view. sometimes it is worth living high up the hill/mountain. being able to see the sea for miles and the sky is nearly always so clear.

I went and fetched my neighbour out to look at the moon it had been on sky news. Shots from Connigsby Lincs. Took the dog for a second walk just so I could admire the brightest I can ever remember the moon being.

The moon here is beautiful in the midnight blue sky.
One of the very best to be seen.

Earlier in the day, we went for a walk in the park to look at the flowers.

Still not ready yet, so will watch carefully for when they burst into bloom.

No - doesn't look any bigger than normal! If someone had not told me it was going to be bigger I wouldn't have even looked - it was nothing special. What's that about? It was supposed to be 14% bigger?
