i have just found out that my dad was marred before my mam and he did not tel us til i just found out now just want to no if sum one out there can help ,,ok he was marred to Joan D EVANS or Mary WILLIAMS " his name was anthony k simmons ? i want to no if them had kids and how long they were married he was from cardiff thanks for helping :-D |

You are right PH - my father was married before he married my mother and his former wife is on their certificate. |

Does this also apply to men who were widowed. I have a man who married again as a widower and no mention of his first wife anywhere. I wish there was! |

My grandfather was a widower and it doesn't give my grandmother's name on his marriage certificate to his second wife. |

Shirley, I think keith posted on here first and was advised to ask on find ancestors. His mistake is not posting twice (other people have taken over tis thread) but in not deleting this thread. Maybe he doesn't know how to. Maybe he hasn't come back because he is at work or something. |
