I don't agree with Sky's push for the filming of court cases. |

Perhaps if they do decide to video court cases we just might see how some of the judges arrive at some of the sentences they hand down. |

Joy ,after the most recent media fiasco involving a mother and her murdered child, she walked away with a slap on the wrist and time served, I would have to say in my opinion, the jury was influenced by the sheer onslaught of information true or false,so in the interest of due process I would say the media needs to stay away... |

No I don't think they should for a start as its been already suggested would the accuse get a fair trial ?and secondly some of the evidence discussed during court cases is not always suitable for TV viewing and then a lot of the legal jangling during is often boring and lastly there will be always some sad sacks that WILL commit crimes to get their 15mins of fame on TV. |

i think no, firstly because, just because they are in the dock doesnt mean there guilty, people have been wrongly convicted, ame as people have been found not gilty when they are, but mud would stick, |

If the case was shown on television we would, at least, know the outcome whatever ir was. |

I would say a definite no. I think it is enough that police put relatives on show when someone has gone missing. I think it is sometimes used as a means of watching the body language of the person making the appeal, I won't give any examples on here but I am sure we all can recall some guilty persons appeal. They have to put the innocent with the guilty and that is what a court is about. |

I have never really been able to get my head around why, if they do not let cameras in the courts, then why are artists' drawings allowed and shown on the TV? |
