Has any one any suggestions
I am having trouble loading and accessing my and others peoples trees, no matter how big they are they take ages to load and most of the time all i get is the top part bit of the page and no tree, i have tried accessing them from other computors and its the same.
Is it my connection or GR
Is any one else having this trouble

The site is not in melt down, and Apps are for phones, not computers.

The biggest single reason that GR trees don't always load is because you have insufficient space in your browser cache because it is full of clutter.

Clear your temp files and try again.

If you are still having problems then report the problem to GR support

and give them details of your PC set up i.e. Windows 7 & Internet Explorer 9

There was a problem with my tree in this site yesterday; twice the following appeared:

"Sorry, there was a problem connecting to the Genes Reunited site." :-(

Different problem altogether.....!

Eventually all names were removed.

JiminyCricket - I concur on all problems. My little thingy just spins and spins with no connection being made. i am fed up - only got interested in working again on my tree recently too! Fingers crossed.

just to add a bit to this as i started it all
i have a perfectly clean com as i have just done a complete system restore , and i still get access to tree problems, so i kinder think that GR is getting overloaded and badly wants a upgrade like they done some time back, and yes banners and adds certainly slow things down

Why are my posts duplicating please

Just tried accessing my tree, rather sticky - took three goes - one stuck, pressed refresh and stuck again, closed and opened again no problems.

PF - sometimes this happens if you click to go back after posting it goes back to your original post, you think you haven't clicked properly and do it again - speaking from experience of course!
