Where did you find free patterns. I enjoy crochet in particular and here in my part od Spain it is quite difficult to find them.

Bridget, I got them off the internet. Just type 'free knitting or crochet patterns', and you will get thousands. Or, go through Google, typing in the phrase I have mentioned.

PS. For a decent modern knitting pattern you have to pay about £2.50. here.

Thanks for that Liz. I was in a waiting room during last year, and picked up a copy of that magazine and found a nice little sweater I liked. I just had to rip it out.
Yes I am the person that lurks in doctor's and hospital waiting rooms to rip out patterns and recipes.LOLOL

Julia, I have been known to take a page if it's a subject that really interests me. In my dr's surgery I ask if I can borrow the mag to photocopy the article and they usually say Oh you can have it, we have loads more magazines to put out so I get to read the whole magazine and then can take the page I want and put the mag back another time or pass it on to my neighbour.
