Can't complain about the staff or customer service in our local Tesco. Wont buy my veg there because it doesn't keep long. |

Again the Tesco we use has very good customer service and most of the check out staff are very pleasant. Not so keen on the other, older Tesco in the area. |

Hi Merlin - yes and no! He's a Eurasier, which is a recognised breed, but a fairly recent one, 'made' from Chow, Wolf Spitz (now defunct I think) and a bit of Samoyed :-) |

Everyone is lovely at our local Tesco and of course Waitrose is wondeful but there is a big, independant supermarket I use sometimes near us and although everyone seems very happy there most of the veg is not very good. I'm just taking back a bag of potatoes because every one, when peeled, was bruised and black. Yuck!!! A friend made me laugh when she said that the veg goes rotten before you get to the checkout! |

Yes, depends on area! Our smallish Asda in the town centre is really good for fruit and veg. Local Tesco customer 'service' is dire, and their checkout staff very surly. Of the 2 local Sainsburys, the nearer, larger, newer one is not nearly so good as the smaller one a bit further away. |

I use both Waitrose and Tesco, The trouble with Tesco is the "YOYO" system of pricing (They take the mickey out of customers) But I must admit that I prefer Waitrose,a bit more expensive yes,but the quality is good.**M**. |

I have no complaints about the fruit and veg in the Tesco we go to but was not that impressed by the Asda. So, as (I think) Rose said it depends on the area. |

I find my local co-op has much better fruit and veg than Asda, and has some really good special offers so I guess it is very dependent on area. Some things are more expensive but overall it probably balances up :-) |
