Has anyone on here ever taken them?? If so, how did you get on with them?
Any advice appreciated.

I took Zyban, and since taking them l have never even had 1 puff and it will be 12 years in May since l gave up :-D

Edit........should have said l used to smoke 40/50 a day :-(

I know 2 people who have used them and have given up smoking which neither of them had been able to do before.

though getting hypomotized 3 times at the hospital
didnt help at all

Champix is fantastic - go for it - started smoking at 14 at 43 decided enough was enough - not had one in 2 years, not tempted, even find the smell repulsive - never thought that'd happen !

Apparently there are various side-effects that you should be aware of but my nephew was on Champix for awhile and he hasn't smoked since - that was about 5 years ago.

I thought we were talking dog biscuits here!!

Yes there are side affects, but maybe they are not as bad as smoking itself, i dont know, but i think any tablet can have side affects, as long as im careful im sure all will be ok, all i've really heard about them is good things, so i think its worth a try, but as with anything always be cautious!!

Well, I'm trying them, but side effects for me are that I'm zonked out for most of the time. So, yes, they work, if you're zonked out :-(

Seriously tho, i smoked about 25 a day, and 2 work colleagues have been taking them, its the thought of "im dying for a fag" when im at work but its a non smoking site, so not that easy, but saying that i want to give up and cant do it on my own :-(
