TUPENCE TO CROSS THE MERSEY,
THOUGHT IT A GOOD BOOK,THEN IT STRUCK ME
THIS STORY OF POVERTY WAS HER LIFE ALL TRUE,

HER FAMILY WENT FROM BEING COMFORTABLE TO TOTAL
POVERTY

HARD LIFE,,A GOOD READ TRY KIT,

She died recently Dizzi - Tuppence to cross the Mersey, Liverpool Miss, By the waters of Liverpool and Lime Street at two are all listed as non-fiction - they are her story. I have all her other books too.

If you enjoy her try Katie Flynn, Lyn Andrews, Joan Jonker, Maureen Lee.

ive got that book,,,,,,,its a lovely bedtime read,,,,,also Kate Flynn Liverpool Taffy is a nice read.

Read all her books many years ago, very enjoyable reads. Like Katie Flynn too and all the others mentioned. :-D

I love Joan Jonker have all her books. May I also recommend Dee Williams, Freda Lightfoot and Victor Pemberton all thoroughly enjoyable

My Mum has all Helen Forresters books, I have read some of them. 'An asprin and a cup of tea' is also a good social history novel by her.

How strange Dizzi,

I picked up an Agatha Raison yesterday in a cheeper bookshop. Its called Beatrice goes to Brighton. I thought it would be good for half term reading in the caravan when we are away for a couple of days..
Its the first one I have bought and looking foward to reading it.
