Yes it is official. If you think you are cold where you are, spare a little thought for me. On the 6.00 news it says the East Midlands is the coldest place in G.B. And, I am in the foothills of the Pennines, aswell. LOLOL

iv had my heating on since 12 today, and its only gone up to 17 from 10 i feel for my purse when the bill comes in haha x

About time you down there got the sort of weather ,we in the north east ,and Scotland normally get ,lol ,hows That for sympathy.

Not warm enough Stray ,you need 16c to avoid hypothermia ,get the heater turned up lol,Fred. :-D

i refuse to be cold in my home, i heat the one room that we use, never had heating on upstairs my northeast breeding has made me tough, but now i cant move arounds so much the heat is important, it costs around 10.00 per week to heat living room and hall way thats the main radiator, which doubles up for drying clothes, and as much hot water as i need , so i think thats good, heating rooms you merely visit dosnt warrent heating im myopnion, saves enviroment and my purse xx :-D

Ha,ha, Marion. It is a little warmer here this morning, but some snow still hanging around. I have put a warmer top on today, but still will not venture out.

Julia ...not as cold as last year here. it was as cold as -16 some nights.
The piles of snow at the side of the road had to be moved by tractors and taken away.It just would not melt.
