worked! I received a couple of emails today which told me that people had posted to a thread I was watching.

Is this new?

I think it is new. I haven't seen it till very recently. I'm not sure if I like it or not.Yet!

I think it used to work, then stopped working and they have been trying to fix it.

it was in the big change last August ............... but it didn't work


some people got multiple emails on the same new posting


I seem to remember someone getting 10 emails each day for at least 3 days .............. all on the same posting :-0



so GR disconnected it


It seems to have come back on the 16th ................... I think phil and co. have managed to do some alterations ................. look at his blog.




Coincidentally, I started 2 threads over the weekend re the Watched threads, warning folk that the email option had not worked for months!

I have got 5 emails this morning for a watched thread I have,
Tried to get rid of it by clicking on ""Watch This"" and it's just going to the error page again.
Emailed them and I will certainly NOT be holding my breath for them to sort it out.

Well.I recieved an email from 1 of the GR team asking me which thread I was chatting about on here earlier today.told her which one and the next thing I get another email telling me if I want to get rid of this certain thread on my "watched Threads" I had to click on it and then click UPDATE.
So I looked for the UPDATE button and it's knowhere to be found.

Someone at GR is going CUCKOO telling me to press a button that doen't exist....

that's my feeling as well!

I have 3 marked in Watch ....... none have had any new postings in 3 or 4 years. BUT each has some information that I may want to re-check .............. so I decided to "watch" them as an easy quick way to get back to them!
