I´ve found a house well it´s 2 houses actually on the same plot. They are both single storey 3 bed 2bath but are probably tiny as the houses are only 75m2 build, but that suits me The plot is 750m2 with terrace, pool and solariums

It´s 249,000€ or approx 207,000GBP more than Mum wanted to pay but it´s a buyers market and it´s open to offers.
Downside is that´s it´s the furthest distance that OH can get to travel to work and it´s not quite in the community that would be ideal for Mum- and it really is top.end of the price range to buy outright and still have money over for mum.
Ofcourse there is also the slight problem that Mum still has to sell her bungalow 1st but Spain is fairly static at the moment and this place has been on the market for a few months now.
Still we are going to look at it (and a few others that may lend themselves to conversions) next week

Mind I am now having second thoughts about all this as Mum phoned yesterday saying she was coming to me 1st to stay at a hotel near me before joining her holiday ...and when was she coming and where was she going ..was it a saga holiday or a bridge holiday ..Wend will know the fun I had with that one :-D.
I did finally calm her down and get her to agree to go straight to the hotel and wait until I can get up there.
I really don´t know how much she is playing with me and how much is genuine.
I think I may put it to Mum that she stays in Spain in a nice retirement home where she can rent short term (cheaper than the care home she´s in at the moment) and let me return to the UK to pack up her house and disconnect services ready for sale. Trouble is I can´t do anything until she gets here and then I will only have a month seeing her once a week to sort things out for her.
*huge sigh*

Jacky thanks as I have a feeling I´m going to be doing a lot of screaming soon. It would be nice if it all slotted in together nicely but that rarely happens.

i have no problems with you coming to live on my land, the garage can be kitted out im sure, and it has a decent lock!!!
