Sorry to hear your OH truck has been stolen, I don't know where they think they have the right to take other peoples things. Daughters car was broken into the other week they tried to hot wire it but couldn't but left $300 worth of damage and she had no car for work for 3 days. Hope they find the truck in good order for you and it was only used to get them somewhere.

Local police have just been here, are doing a door to door round neighbours. Seems one may have heard it go & thought oh was leaving early.

I would go do some more gardening ... but NO green wheelie bin & no truck to load garden rubbish into for oh to take down to the wood.

in the days before manufacturers antitheft and safety devices, and the electric pump was in the boot, I had a secret switch to switch off the pump......so if it WAS nicked all they would have would be a carburrettor full of fuel and likely run out of fuel in a main road......and they would have to dump it there!

never ever happened though..........fortunately..

I am sorry to hear this, infuriating that our posessions are not safe even on our drive. Was it locked/alarmed? Not that that should mean someone could drive it off if it wasn't but thinking about the insurance. So inconvenient for your husband. Hope they catch them.

The truck is my husbands work vehicle, the fencing ordered by farmers with lambing in full swing will be delayed & have to be delivered by tractor & trailer.

My Fiesta is still in the garage ... I did check that it was safe.

on the four occasions when one of my vehicles has been stolen, my only wish - nasty as it was - was that they would kill themselves in it
