.........................

Just wondered if anyone has or knows of anyone that has asked for a thread or post to be removed from the FB GR site.

I don't know of anyone.

Yes, I have.

The post I reported was uncalled for & only posted to cause harm to an innocent third party.

& BEFORE I get accused ... NO it was not me constantly hitting the RR on here.

What happens if you click on the little cross top right on a thread or post ?

Does that remove it or does GR do it ?

SueCar

On any of the posts along the line where a name is, there is the word report. If you press that it brings up a complaints box to report that posting. It is then reviewed, So RR means reported for review.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that, JackyJ1593.

Is there any way that people are clicking on Report because they think it is some sort of review, as in "shall we read the report on this topic"? I mean, if I were to click on it now does it give me the option to outline my complaint or does a box just come up that says "thank you for reporting a problem, we will look into it" or words to that effect? I did once report something on FB but I can't remember now what happened. The reason I ask is that my om and I were looking at plumbing supplies on a diy website today and he was about to click on 'report' because he thought it was the same as the previous button I had just clicked on ('review') to read a customer review of the product. Review . . . Report . . . they are not that dissimilar after all and on the website we were looking at the Report button was the same shape & size & in the same position on the page as the Review button.

Just thought I would throw this into the pot for people to ponder . . .
