Help with reducing the size of photo's, ...

l have a photo that needs to be made smaller. l copied it to Micorsoft word from my Pictures, but it is enormous.....
how do l make it smaller. l'm sure l've asked this before, but forgotten what to do:((

Click on it it will show dots along the outline, drag one of the corner dots inwards to shrink it

Hi Jude
If your pic is in 'word' just left click inside the image, then drag the handles to the size you want.

You say you have it in 'my pictures', why not open it in office/gallery, go to 'edit' and select 'compress in the right hand column.

or that it is megabytes large?

Jude, which method did you use? I found compressing great for emailing or loading to blogs as it makes pics quicker to go. Handles are useful for editting in a word doc. Well that's my way LOL :-D

Despite having a Microsoft Foto Suite I always use "Paint" (you will have such proram on your PC) to downsize pics. VERY simple to use. I tell it to decrease by 50 then decide if any further decrease needed, if yes I decrease by 75. Works every time. If you want step by step instrs please let me know
