The world smells of old ladies knickers and I've got a sore throat and lumps in the roof of my mouth.Head full of cotton wool. nose like a waterfall.

Oh, how I hate oilseed rape!

And they say it doesn't cause hayfever!!! WRONG.We are surrounded by the stuff and it is already affecting me.Long may this rain fall and keep the pong away.Never thought of it smelling like old ladies Knickers though lol.I'll have a sniff tomorrow. :-D

We have the stuff growing on the fields near us :-|

It starts off the hayfever but I will have to have a good sniff just to check out the wiff.

It seems to be the main crop around here now. I hate the smell, sickly like privet and it always affects me and my OH with streaming eyes and nose. We never got hayfever till they started growing oilseed rape!

Now vets are reporting breathing problems with horses kept near it too.

Someone told my son to put vaseline just inside his nostrils to help him suffer less.

I have hardly been outdoors since Monday. Having to sleep with the windows closed when I much prefer a howling gale. Scabby eyes,hacking cough,wooly head.

It seems the cold,wet, weather is keeping the pollen down close to the Earth.

So,I am saying even more vehemently. GODDAMN THE YELLER FELLER!
