Oh what a shame !!!

Thought both he and the Queen were brilliant being able to stand so long in the cold at their age....but if he was nursing a bladder infection as well I'm even more amazed he managed it x

Buttercups, I didn't think you were that old. Or, was it a crush on an older man. You know what they used to say.
'All the nice girls love a sailor' LOLOL
Nice to see you, which I havn't for a while.

l'm not surprised either, they should have been able to sit down atleast, no one used those beautiful chairs and they would have looked great sitting in them, common sense too.
l wish him well and hope he is ok and out of hospital asap!!

he's going to miss the service at St Paul's which is such a shame for the Queen who would want him by her side - where he's always been - how sad for her

As you say though - nearly 92 years of age and standing in the freezing cold on that barge for hours - I was flippin' cold and I was in the house!!

not at all suprised,,,,,,,,the queen will have a bad chest next,,,,,,far to damp for either of them to be exposed to all elements yesterday.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 4 Jun 2012 17:53

I hope he didn't catch a chill yesterday. The queen will be so disappointed, it will put a dampener on the occasion. I hope he is soon better.

if they sat on the lovely chairs I suspect they would of been in the direct wind that whys they chose to stand behind them..

Or the chairs might have been damp anway. Wonder if they were allowed to pee whilst on the boat. A long time for an old man to have to wait!
