I love old maps too Dizzi and good on you for getting those two at a charity shop. I was given a book and maps for Chrismas (which I asked for) - London, A Life in Maps by Peter Whitfield and Maps of London 1863. I shall be looking for similar in charity shops now. |

Reading about old maps I have just realised I have an old Map it is on Parchmet rather a big one it has all the old names and information before London got its names we know now the spelling is different. I was give this about 50 years ago.I intended to frame it but never did., |

Yes i do that, but its not the same as having the map in your hand looking at it. I have alot of sites that i go on with old maps. |
