Look for Ruby the talking parrot on Metcaf. She used to be on Youtube.

I can't do you a link because I don't know how to but, if you just type in Ruby parrot or something like that you will find her.

With Ruby you can clearly hear the different people who have taught her words and all with a strong American Accent. :-D

Aw I love it, my cockatiel talks a lot and says things in the right order, for e.g. if we go out of the room he says "where are you going". Birds are so clever.

Thanks Sharron

Oh WOW what a clever bird. One wonders the thought pattern that they associate with .

My mums Uncle had a parrot that he rescued from a London Dicks pub that had been bombed in WW2, his vocabulary was very ripe!!,
I remember going to see uncle in the 1950,s and being fascinated by the parrot. he would shout News, Star, Standard which were London newspapers at the time, and the paper boy would come down the roads Sat evening shouting the names of the editions that carried the football results.
Dad used to get the Evening Standard to check off his pools to see if he could be the £75000 winner

I think you may have the wrong Ruby. This one has a somewhat 'rich' vocabulary but amazing timing and is not on You Tube.

Nos 7 and 12 are my favourites.

Doesn't seem to have a title. They are all worth a look and a listen if you are relatively unshockable.
