:-D will use it as an office, oooh cant wait. It arrives next week. Has anyone else got one, I was wondering if anyone has space-saving tips or ideas. It'll be like a little living room (Im common, I dont say 'lounge' lol) as well.

Thanks Muffy. Our garden is long but narrow, never stayed anywhere long enough to make it a real home but been here 2 yrs, thats a record!! Its from a wholesale site I think so its a bargain. Lol Ginnie, great minds..... is he the butler and chef as well. Mine has to multi task.

I call mine a shed .Remember my free erection thread at the end of May.

My shed is 16' x 8'. It is in two parts,a shed bit which is 6' wide and the other bit which has double doors to get the wheelchair in and five windows.

Am hoping to get the desk out there when I have insulated it and had the electricity put on (saving up). a friend has some carpet tiles he has saved from somewhere and is going to fit them for me.

I think it will be a sort of study.Don't want OH using it as an office because he is an empire builder and will fill it with his work stuff in no time at all, just like he fills every other space he can find!!!!!!!

Lol, mines got his own shed to fill with junk. Hes not coming anywhere near mine. He's wiring electricity in by running a power cable from the kitchen to the summer house. Same with phoneline.

Insulation is essential if you want to use it as an office throughout the year.
I am in a boarded loft space in the house, but even here it can get cold in the winter months.

Sounds a great idea though. Enjoy fitting it out.

I'd love a shed, for my gardening bits & pieces. Can't find them in the garage......

We have a DOUBLE garage!! It's FULL of OH's stuff, and the car has never been in it! :-(

Oops, sorry, some of it isn't exactly his, it's ours - one cupboard has a shelf with home made jams, pickles etc.

Ridiculous really, two of us in this big house, we've got more stuff than a family of 10.

Morning Romany Star, I have had one for about 10 years. It is nice to sit in, in the spring with a rug around the knees for warmth, and to sit and watch the garden begin to evolve, with a nice hot cup of what you fancy, and a glass of what you fancy in the evening.
I have a rattan 3 piece suite in mine, and a coffee table to match.

Hi
We have one which we use as a studio for our art work.
Actually I should actually say I use as I've rather taken over but I do allow OH to use it sometimes. :-D :-D :-D

It's great. I listen to the radio and make a art works all day long ;-) ;-) ;-)

More like I listen to the radio and make a mess all day long :-D :-D :-D
Enjoy yours when it arrives
take care

Thanks Gwyn, its half built so husband will be lining it and putting a portable heater in thank goodness. Came in about 100 pieces of flat packed wood, the air was blue last night. ;-) Julia, that sounds really lovely. Hes decking our garden as its long and narrow, hard to do anything with it and him and the kids get hayfever. But hope to put a few pots of flowers around. Lol Von! Do you sell your artwork? That sounds v interesting. Sounds like you have a big space to work in.
