Keith - the likelihood of anyone who remembers these people happening on your posting is remote in the extreme - your best course of action is to use "Search" top right hand corner of this page to see if they feature in any trees on this site - if you strike lucky you then have the option to contact the tree owner - you also need to have a location

My mother's favourite flower, I always use to take my teacher a bunch on a Monday morning back in 1945.
I have been searching all evening on the Free Search and the Mormon site, when you say have I searched the tree's the answer is yes. I could be doing something wrong because all I get is a lot of tree's with Elizabeth Cole and no indication of any particular tree where there is a Thomas Trotman married to a Elizabeth cole.

So frustrating?

Keith

Hi Ann, I tend to agree with you, its one of those things that came up tonight and I was keen to find an answer, Thanks anyway.

Keith,

You wont get any information from a tree of search for Elizabth Cole in marriage,,,,,,,that comes by finding her name with possibly birth year and place,,,,,,,,you then have to contact the tree owner (name on the right hand side of entry) to ask if Elizabeth married T Trotman.......if they reply yes,,,,,,,,they can grant you permission to view their tree or give you details. :-)

No unfortunately Keith the search is by birth date rather than being able to check by marriages.

I can see you have him as born 1853 on Ancestry?

death in 1923?

Ok everyone I have found him in my tree you can see it on ancestry, looks like one on the Bristol families, I am sincerely sorry to have wasted your time. I have as you say, him down as 1853 and Elizabeth down as 1855. However, if you have their children at hand I would very much appreciate that.

Many thanks to all. Keith

I have to thank you all again, I have truly wasted your time tonight through my, probably advancing years. I can now tell you if you look on the opposition you will see how far my tree goes back, and please make any comments you wish if you see a mistake. I have always considered cross referencing as a key element to accurate record keeping
