Same as Tenerife Sun. Nice cafe, nice company on a warm still evening anywhere. Any of places below, though not many warm still evenings in Pleck near Walsall.

I can watch life go by anywhere :-D :-D :-D

Friend & I sat drinking tea on Whitemoor in the New Forest, and 5 cows came right round us munching the grass.

They were BIG!!!

Another time on the Forest, a group of youths scared a pony, which came up to us and stayed very close until the yobs went.

Just back from the New Forest myself ...........nothing nicer than watching the ponies heading for the undergrowth as evening draws in, the young ones running to catch up with their mums and the mums voicing disapproval if they don't.

Know what you mean about the cows Maggie, we were sitting by a small watering hole surrounded by ponies one Minuit and the next t they were replaced by huge cows ..... We Legged IT :-D

We have big cattle here in New Zealand. Of course if they have big horns, then I would keep a wary eye on them.

Actually I dont want to sit and watch life go by. I want to be a part of life. My husband used to like to sit at the seaside and watch the waves but after I had been there for a minute I felt I had seen them all and I wanted to be doing other things. (Now, no naughty suggestions there, please).

My ideal is finding another new walk in the hills or valleys here in Catalunya, getting the walking gear on and taking lots of nice pics.

Winter and Springtime only, t's too hot in Summer. If I can take in one of the old monasteries too, so much the better. A cold beer and bag of crisps in some wee village then a nice drive home with my boots smelling of crushed thyme and sage...aromatherapy! :-)

Same as a few have put on here. I love to sit somewhere quiet, in the warm sun, the garden, by the harbour or outside a cafe I dont mind .

Like alot of peeps on Chat, to sit anywhere that I will be free of pain, at least long enough to enjoy the scenery.

PS. I don't want to sound maudlin or morbid. It is not meant like that.
