I note that the heading at the top of all the boards has changed

This board used to say....."General Chat"

It now says.......All threads on "General Chat" board

I hadn't noticed until you said Roy, but can't see why the change. It means the same.

I just think they should be fixing the problems with the tree rather than messing about with things that ain't broke

Roy Had asked them to change it to "John's Opinions on All Threads on General Chat".

Perhaps Team misunderstood my request :-S :-)

Is it me or is this new too. When I click on a thread the 'topic' is shown as a separate tab on my computer. I am sure that this wasn't the case previously. :-S

??? Er, no - the only thing that opens in a new tab is my 'Tree' :-S

The tabs used to be Genes Reunited or as you say DET Family tree but now I have the name of the board also showing .... General Chat-Boards...etc . Also whenever I click on a thread it shows the Topic/Header in a tab.

Very weird if this is only happening for me, unless I have inadvertently discovered this and everyone has always had the tabs change like this previously. :-S

It does change the title on the tab when you select a thread. I am sure that is new.
