help needed please.
I have a beautiful(well it was lol) artifical standard rose that I have had for a very long time.I do dust it as much a possible but it has got really dirty.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to clean it.
I have tried putting it in a bag with salt but that has not worked, have tried my hairdryer on it,no difference.
My husband bought it for me years ago and when clean it looks real.I really dont want to throw it out.
any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :-( :-(

Swish it around in warm soapy water will clean it and then let it dry on it's own..

I do this with my artifical flowers and they come really clean.

After swishing it, try a gentle few minutes under the shower to get the soap off

worked for me

Would a dry paint brush and a damp cloth work if you could spend a couple of hours in front of your favourite television programme cleaning the leaves and petals individually?

aivlyS,they are not silk but a fabric but this may work.
Jill, Started with a small paint brush but because it is such a big thing it would take me lots of hours in front of the tele to do this.(havnt got that much patience either :-( :-()
Thanks anyway girls. :-) :-)

stick it in the shower or leave it out in the rain....

or try an empty spray bottle filled with warm water and a drop of stardrops and let it drip dry.....

Look at the Betterwear site, they have a special spray to do the job, saw it in the last catalogue that came through the door and just googled Artificial flower cleaner and it showed up, along with lots of other tips etc.
