I love watching this programme, takes me back to my days working at the Grosvenor House hotel.....not that I ever sat down to a dinner which included ants!!! %3A-S but otherwise it's very similar.

I agree with Sue.....what an expensive gimmick.
Dined at the Savoy in the 90 s and that was wonderful.
I had a lovelyChristmas dinner today with all the trimmings locally and it was excellent...cost £15 !

Could you imagine paying nearly £200 a head and skipping a course? I love the programme, it's been really well edited and covers almost every aspect of running such a prestigious establishment.

Staff loyalty is incredible. Tips must be jolly good %3A-D

I thnk the fact that many of the staff have worked there for a long time reflects well on the hotel and the owning company.....all too often hotels experience a quick turnover of staff.

The programme is repeated tonight on bbc2 at 11.20pm

I have enjoyed watching it so far but ugh at eating ants!
