Stephen Fry would be brilliant in the role.

How to explain River Song = she is complex character who knows the Doctor through many of his regenerations (hence she mentions spoilers all the time)

I would suggest you Google the character and that will explain it at.

I'd be happy with no Dr Who :-D but OH
would be devastated if the programme
were to finish.

Emma :-)

DT was the best, I warmed to Matt Smith in some of the episodes, but the scripts were not as good, and it lost it's way a bit I think with too much 'who is Riversong'?

What about, don't all shoot at once, Daniel Radcliffe? ! :-)

Lenny Henry would be good, perhaps more likely to go to someone not that well known I think.

Stephen Fry, or how about a female Doctor Who - Miranda Hart?

I think the part may already have been cast as Matt has already filmed his last episode where he regenerates.

Just hope it is someone not trying to hard to be the new 'David Tennant'.

Really found Matt Smith hard to get....

Jim Broadbent would make a wonderful absent minded professor type. :-D

I can see Boris Johnson dancing around the control panel of the TARDIS and confounding the bad guys with his interview techinque!

I have to say I loved David Tennant and when he left I was gutted and assumed I wouldn't like Matt Smith however he has brought a fun yet serious side to the Dr which was needed. I do wonder will they make it a woman and do something like his new companion some how being her due to what happened in the last episode or will Donna remember and not die and come back as the Dr Donna ???

Love the idea of a lady doing the part but he is called a Time Lord so will go to a man.

How about Lenny Henry for the part

We are soon going to have a new Doctor, several names have been
suggested, including that a woman could have the part, could I suggest
our Anne in Cardiff gets the part, she would only have to walk to work. :-D :-D :-D
