My dog had to got the vets, my son paid the first bill, but i was later concerned that the dog had reopened the wound by scratching at it and took 3 weeks of healing back nearly to square one............ |

AnnCardiff, I reckon I would get gold or silver. I don't even need anything there or in the way. I could fall over fresh air :-( |

always the way - you'd probably get up even if you'd broken your leg - you feel so daft - I fell headlong a few months ago as I was entering Asda - of all places - I was so traumarised I ws just unable to get up and just lay there - there was a man sitting on the floor by the entrance and my head just about ended up in his lap!!! Think he was probably a patient from our local psychiatric hospital where I used to work. I felt like a dog - he kept patting my head and asking me "are you alright love!!!?" eventually some staff members came out, they had called an ambulance - they arrived and put screens around me and eventually I managed to stand - I think Asda was worried I was going to make a claim but for the life of me I could see nothng I had tripped over - felt an absolute wally - I refused a trip to casualty as I had my car with me, so I just sat till I regained my equilibrium and went home - but it sure shakes you up |

I had an accident at work - in a hospital - tripped over the rotten carpet in my office and broke my arm - that was Friday morning, spent Friday night in hospital to have it pinned and then plastered and was back at my desk on Monday morning - never even thought of compensation - wonder if it's too late now :-D |

I have just read an article in the local paper regarding compensation paid as a result of injuries to pupils in our local schools last year |
