Mum worked in Woolies when they had the old wooden counters with cashiers on every one. One poor child was in tears when the salesman put his hand up Sooty and was so upset that Sooty wasn't unique or real.

Sooty was OK but couldn't bear Sue's squeaky voice or Sweep!

Give me Andy Pandy any day :-)
