Copying entries from a relatives tree

No one has come forward recently to say they've managed to paste a relation into their tree - there was a query on the boards about that aspect at the weekend

If that is the case, you'll have to manually create the relative. It might be easier to open GR & the conact's tree in a new window (not tab) and adjust the page size so that you can see both side to side.

If you right click the bar at the bottom of your screen (depending on your layout choice you may have some icons and the clock down there) it will give you the options

Hi Jenna-

I have been able to highlight info that I want to copy from a relatives tree, and then Right clicking and choose copy. Then right clicking where on the tree notes you want to put it on your tree and click paste. The info will go straight onto your notes on your tree.

At least this works for me- I just tried it again to be sure! :-D

Hi, I'm really hoping someone can help me with this. A relative of mine has just shared their tree with me and it has a lot of information that I'd like to copy to my own tree. When I click on an entry on her tree it allows me to copy to the clipboard. How do I then paste this onto my tree?

I would really appreciate some help with this!
