Hi Shirley, whereabouts are you. If you google Hydro Showers or Steam Showers there are a number of online `shops`. One of them actually has a very good showroom, Burnley Plumbing Supplies which is where we went. Athough it is a good hour from where I live, I think sometimes you have to see them `in the flesh`!!!
It is somewhere near Manchester, although how far that is from you I dont know. First off, check on line. There are one or two showrooms about but mostly they are on line.

Also Shirley, if you give a bathroom showroom near you a ring, they may just have one or two. Burnley though seems to concentrate just on the hydro and steam showers, there is a good display.

We are having problems with our shower that runs off the gas multipoint.
It cuts out the hot water after a while
Having paid out to have a new thermostat on it and then a new diaphragm on the multipoint total cost £ 365 AND it hasn't solved the problem I mentioned your thread to OH and he has got all enthusiastic and wants to have a look at them.

It's finding them in our area now ,have googled but not finding anything

Please do not tempt me with anything because we bought the upstairs kitchen this week and I have my eye on a garden table and 8 chairs .mmmmm

Plenty of time for Marilyn to get hers fitted and tested before I can even look at them again !

After spending €1600 to adapt the bathroom to a wet room for Mum and a further €200 (so far) to re-do it for us. OH is not a happy bunny with Marilyn because I couldn´t resist a look at them, nor could I resist falling in love with the idea and saying I want :-D

Marilyn let us know what you decide on and how you get on please. I have to admit I daren´t try and change the bathroom just yet, as it hasn´t even been used since we put the glass partition in but I do love the idea.

Liz they are brilliant, never been in one till I used the one at these two guest houses. One was slightly better than the other. I have emailed the guest houses, and had a lovely email back from one, still waiting for the other one though and that was the best. Comes up with hydro razors on Which lol.

Shirley, I have looked on there, seen a few I would like but would love to hear from people who have actually used them.

Thanks both of you for your help.

:-)

Why not ring the guest houses you stayed at and ask what makes theirs are etc

I don't know if there would be Which reports on these showers but worth a look.

I haven't come across these so can't voice an opinion but they sound good.

Just wondered if anyone has a hydro steam shower, what make is it and would you recommend it.

I recently made a couple of visits to guest houses while doing my family tree and was thoroughly spoilt by being able to use one.

I think I have now convinced my husband that it would be good for my old bones but there are no reviews or recommendations for any and I am a bit scared just to buy one without anyones opinion.

Hope someone has one of these, or knows someone with one who can advise me. I would be so grateful.

Thank you for any advice you could give.

Marilyn :-)
