anyone watch last night?

We had visitors so recorded it, but I think I can guess who won it.

Twas the semi-final. We won't know who wins till next weeks final.

Paula, I think I know who you mean. I think that last nights "best baker" (or whatever it is called) should win, unless the other two are better than her next week of course. :-)

I think the best baker is..' ' she's the most confident I'd say.

Tess what did you think of Mary and Paul's decision last night? do you think the right person went home? hmm :-S

Must say I do like Sue and Mel, their French humour last night had me in stitches :-D soo funny

I reckon that Paul was very surprised by how good Frances' food tasted, as well as how magnificent it all looked.

I also think that sometimes they give Ruby estra credit because of her youth and how busy she will have been doing her finals.

I would love to be able to taste the baking, as really it is the way to tell what it best.

Perhaps Ruby would win the taste challenge, even if her offerings don't look so good.

Sue and Mel are great with the humour, they were first on out t.v. screens as a comic duo.

Unfortunately I didn't ever learn French, so some of their humour was lost on me. (But it still sounded funny!).

Must remember to watch tomorrow. (or should that be today?)

Final tonight Tess and Im recording it :-( as I've been so generous to OH and 'allowed him' ;-) to watch football on the big screen

my t.v. wouldn't let me record it! Kept getting a message about recording three progs. at the same time.

I know that I was recording the football (for son) but wasn't recording anything else, well I hadn't tried recording anything else and couldn't find any other programme marked as being recorded.

So I had to watch it live. Enjoyed it and as BF said "the best woman won" :-D

Her wedding cake looked really good, although as Mary said all - over petals would have given it an even better look.

Have never watched it - however last night we were watching a recording when OH took a call - I stopped the recording and put mute on and up popped the Baking show - was at the stage where they were beginning to put together the cakes.

As as the show finished - OH put down the phone and passed the comment - that was a lot of rubbish cakes! This was from a man who had seen, over the years, many cakes designed for all occasions made by me.

The student - it may have been the first time she tried a 3 tier so there is an excuse - the winner's wasn't great but was the best that night.
