Good to hear that an ex soldier has been looking after another ex serviceman.
Shelter, food, a new pair of socks or offers of having his clothes washed must be such welcome help.

Someone he knew locally would have given him a room and bed for the night, but he declined and was just grateful to pitch his tent in a safe spot in their garden.

Gwen, He is under cover tonight, and ex soldier from my sons regiment has fed him and given him shelter in a lean to at the Sligachan Bunkhouse on the Isle of Skye,

The weather is petty bad their at the moment

It's great to follow him and see how generous and supportive people have been,

I was asking my daughter on Tuesday how he was getting on. She met him with friends and had a meal with him when he was in this area.

Now that the weather is getting cold and wet again, there must be so many days when it is really tough out on the road.

An amazing journey.
