The Canal & Rivers Trust (formerly British Waterways) have what I call an aquamower. It's like a lawn mower, but attached to a boat. They use it to cut the reeds in the canal. I wonder if they'd be willing to rent it out... :-S |

My husband can hardly wait to get ours cut, but as we are the only garden with a back lawn in our terrace of 3, we are still a bit soggy from the rain that washed off theirs and into ours :-( :-( |

We have a pear tree in the back garden . Its a minarette type that is designed for small spaces . It grows in an upturned umbrella type way. |

Surely it must still be waterlogged . We dont have grass at the back of the house as over the years it has been landscaped with raised beds and rockeries because the garden is on an uprising slope . |
