I will probably look for it online and watch so I catch up before next week's episode. There are so many repeats and such on various channels so I juggle most of them that I want to watch. I am a really telly addict!

Yes looks as tho family join them along the way. What a wonderful thing to have filmed as they will be able to treasure it for grandchildren etc.

I watched it and enjoyed every minute. I have operated lock gates and certainly couldn't do it single-handed now. For her age, Prunella Scales is extremely fit - I am very envious!

I think you can watch it on Channel 4's equivalent of BBC I-player.

I didn´t see it because I didn´t know it was on ..mind I would have been annoyed if I had as my TV viewing has been on the blink for the last 2 weeks or so. I will certainly look for it next week

I thought it was a delightful programme, and surprised it wasn't on mainstream TV. Prunella certainly is agile - to see her, you'd think she was half her age!

We were both looking forward to it and we certainly were not disappointed.

Hard work for a much younger person working the 17 flight locks.

Roll on next week.

Its on again next week Liz I did not realize that Prunella was 81 the way she was climbing up and opening the lock gates, if you get a chance to watch it Liz you will really enjoy it. I think their two sons join them on one of the canals up north.

Can't you watch it on BBC i-player?

I really wanted to record that but o.h. had programmed in something different to record and I was busy so couldn't watch it. I do hope it will be repeated, as it looks good and it's interesting to see them coping with Prunella's dementia. So sad for them both to deal with. I hadn't realised she is 81.

Did anyone watch this programme on more4 with Timothy West and his wife Prunella Scales about their love of holidaying on the Canals for the past forty years. They talk about prunella's illness she is in the very early stages of Alzheimers, a very gentle watch on again next week.
