A place I worked once, we had to change passwords every month.

Six letters. exactly, no numbers or characters.

After a few months........... what will I use now??????????/

I'm sure you can think of some of the 6 letter words I used.

"stupid" was one of them....... then they got worse

We have to change our password at work about every 2 months.
mine is a statement, then a number, which I change for the next number every time I have to change the password. We only get 3 chances to get the password right, and just changing the number means if I get it wrong first time (usually by putting in my previous number), I just add put in the next number.

I'm on number 23 at the moment :-D

User: Why do I need a new one as that one was working fine?

Website: you must get a new one as they automatically expire every 30 days.

User: Can I use the old one and just re-register it?

User: I don't want a new one as that is one more thing for me to remember.

Website: you must use at least one number.
