I am cooking the dogs food and I hate it when it boils over. So messy on the cooker Not for what is but sometimes I forget that mince cooked in chicken water will boil over.
Clean the cooker again and clean it after the rice cook, Why did I decide that home cooking for the dogs was good :-0

Cos you know it's best!!! :-D
We had when I was a child, who moved with us a lot! She used to be fed on 'lights' amongst other things.
When we moved to Mevagissey, she soon found the harbour and used to walk down there in the wee small hours, when the boats came in.
The fishermen soon got to know her, and she would be given a fish.
We'd get up in the morning to find a fish on the kitchen floor.
The cat didn't like it raw, so it would be put on to boil, then turned off, and left to cool. We'd then hear a clatter as Mickie removed the lid, took the fish out and ate it!! After all, it was HER fish, she could help herself to it!

Uzzi, do you have a microwave? You could easily cook the mince in a large casserole dish or basin/bowl in the microwave adding just a little chicken water at a time. There would be less mess and aroma!

I used to 'cook' fish bits for my cats when I had been to the fishmonger, he would give me a load of cut off bits and I would put them in a saucepan which had a tight fitting lid. I would pour boiling water over the fish and put the lid on, no heat under the pan but the fish would cook well and by the time the water had cooled, was ready for cats to tuck in, there was jelly left too which they loved.
