It's scary isn't it..............we don't use any of the companies you mention, but have you looked to see if there are any online forums for them?

It is a mine field out there - worse than last time. I have had a fixed rate which finishes end April with Scottish Power. Now they sent me a reminder and quoted me new rates for up to end June 2015.

Have tried a couple of comparison sites and Money Supermarket - the Scottish Power rates quoted are cheaper than they quoted me.. If I go with them I will double check and get it in writing.

However the cheapest are Extra Energy and the next is OVO.
Scots. Power is fourth in the list.

Has anyone heard/had dealings with either of these two companies?

Be grateful for any feedback.
