I never have any big beans to grow more from because I think big runner beans are my favourite vegetable.

Was just thinking I would have plenty of beans this year so I can let lots of pods get big and have the beans out of them.

Oh wow, now I can't wait.

Just chuck 'em in the pot next time you make some soup is my advice.

Don't put them up your bottom.

Up your obelisk is the place for beans.

There will also be some round my wigwams.

Did I say when they were going up my obelisk?

*Tuts* and rolls eyes. Sharron, it's far to early to plant beans out yet. I shall be planting mine in 3" pots (one per pot) soon, keep them indoors, and when they are 6-8" high I shall put them out in May. One or two won't germinate and rot, but if I put them out now, not only is the weather too dodgy at the mo - bloomin' freezing down my end this afternoon, they could well be eaten by mice, especially down your rural end, or should I say up your rural end ;-) :-D

Have I wasted my time? :-S

Because it is not always wet and windy round Wend's end, she has been able to send me some of her very own runner beans to plant.

Because I already have some down the bottom I am, going to put them up my obelisk.
