One of my heroes, Sue Townsend, has died 68.
She was the creator of the subversive Nigel Molesworth.

I've been listening to interviews she has done in the past on the radio to-day and she certainly sounded a great gal. Great sense of humour too, considering her awful health problems. How sad that she has died so young.

Andromeda Veal? Was that the name of his girlfriend? I vaguely remember my daughter having the books and I think I may have read a couple of them. :-S

It was Ann she ended up an MP in Tony Balirs new labour party.

No 10 was a fantastic send up of Tony and Cherie Blair ...........she sent him out to live amongst the people dressed as a women and his wife was totally bonkers. :-D

Sue Townsend had had a lot to cope with while writing her books and it's sad that she has died so young when she still had more to give her readers.

At least she will be well remembered for her books and her humour.

Rest in peace, Sue, you gave a lot of people enormous pleasure and will continue to do so in future.
